  1. oh shyte. thats what you drop just by mucking around. that is freaking awesome. most def finish it or use it as a muse for a full blown track. love the chopped sample sound. man that drop at 1.03 is off the hook. and your wobble game is on point. i seriously expected sporty-o to drop a verse afterwards a-la what he's been doing with aquasky.
  2. first up congrats bro for getting tapped to remix. nice intro (use of vaocal sample again adds the flavour. like cbg said use it more). and i like the first drop into the wobble. and the sharp horn-y(?) sound in the last phrase works well. im liking the sound of it.
  3. hey man sorry i listened to this a couple days back but never got a round to giving you feedback. dont really like the first song, but the others are good. yeah man not much to say except nice transitions. seemed all seamless to me. and the energy of the mix was good and doesnt stagnate. can i ask (as im more a line fader mixer than a cross fader), is your cross fader set to the curve where it dips both when in the middle? cuz i notice you dont have to EQ a lot,yet it still sounds good. i usually have to kill the bass of the incoming and do a bass swap out for nearly the bulk of my mixes. oh and final comment, the finger doesnt really suit your hearts motif
  4. oh yeah this one got me dancing. loving all your vocal samples. and that bassy sound is hypnotic. it doesnt just end like that does it? more needs more! anywhos sounding good.
  5. has potential man. the sampling at 0.33 is good. dont really like the slowing of the tempo into the verse. maybe have it explode out and then when verse starts the beats are just slower, instead of slowing down. but like you said ou still gonna work out the first drop. i disagree w/ hearts, leave the verse, sounds awesome. again that sampling at 1.55 is the shiznit. into some nice wobble
  6. hey man. soory bit late for reply. but yeah very nice sound. love the breakdowns and builds. gets you very pumped up. i didnt mind the MandemNTandem mix. not saying its better than yours, hard to compare theirs was more glitchy and chopped, while yours was more melodic. definitely yours is more of a club banger. but that youtube one? man you kill that, skin that and piss all over it. and yeah for sure, keep at it!
  7. freaking awesome!! you know i love my disco. nice referral bro! following on soundcloud now. pass on the kudos mate.
  8. hey man welcome
  9. oh sorry just remembered it was a remix. good luck fro the contest.
  10. hey man. dont know the original but im liking the sound of this. as ive said in other reviews i like the chopped up sample. so not sure if thats the orig or your sample, but liking it a lot. all nice builds and breaks. if anything, the only complaint i had was after the jazzy outro i was wanting more. especially as the end of the outro has a bit of a kicker at the very end. anywho another nice one from you guys.
  11. yay DL!. you know my comments from the first page, i.e. my fave track of yours. you shopping it around for a release, cuz it deserves it mate!!

  17. hey man welcome born in 88, how old is that....ha ha anywho. whats your choice of weapons, what kinda tunes you into, and how did you stumble upon us.
  18. hardly. everytime NI update their firmware, watch all the apple boys hitup the forum saying this doesnt work or that doesnt work. and the solution is always, just wait NI forgot to consider mac again..
  19. hey tubby which version of traktor 1.2.6 either way looked at some of those posts headed win7 and they all talking about the 64 bit version throwing traktor pear shaped. im not technically proficient to understand (plus im using a four yr old xp machine). but here are some of the posts http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... p?t=105877 http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... hp?t=96215 only these two mention solutions but then ppl followed up with saying its not working http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... hp?t=91673 http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... 710&page=5
  20. so that must be from the back of a truck???
  21. i take it back. i git the bum steer i think the mac app store is in addition to loading software. i think
  22. what i think is a massive leap from the last air is you can configure. so you can actually get a 2.16ghz with 4GB ram. which would be shit hot. yeah my first thought was how cool would it be just to have to carry that, maybe a hard drive ( though plenty enuff memory for one set) and your sound card and your all set. downside is they apparentally going the app route!!! which means you cant just buy software and load it on. it will mean developers will need to specifically create an app and then lodge it with the apple app store!!! so traktor and serato will have to buy into it and develop apps. and given NI's current lack of love for apple it may not be straight away. while heaps convenient its just another step in steve jobs goal to take over the world.
  23. PC has freedom
  24. now you really got me thinking. because of musical ADD i dont ever really do repeat listenings or full album listenings. but yeah to call it the best album is a massive call because you cant ignore public enemy - it takes a nation of millions, shit even Apocalypse 91 is a killer album wu tangs - 36 chambers common - be (everyone goes on about electric circus but i prefer be) lil waynes first album the block is hot. where he was only 16 and writing for an entire label (except juvenile) and they owned the billboard charts. with multiple albums and singles in the charts at the same time from the one label. and forget what you see now with guest spots on rnb songs, the dude was killer writer and lyricist, and the label had a great beat maker in mannie fresh (they only so so after he left). speaking of ghost writers, and what about straight outta compton. thing had everything from gangsta rap to boom bap to house rap (Something 2 Dance 2 was a killer dance rap song from 88 ) yeah id be hard pressed to say which hip hop album is the best
  25. i like nas, but i cant say i enjoy all his stuff that much. id go Murs anyday over Nas. like i could do whole Murs albums in a single sitting, definitely couldnt do that with nas. and thats a bigg call illmatic was the best album for hip hop? i dont know man. yes it is lyrically amazing. but personally (and this is a debate that has gone for over 15 years) if i had doggystyle and illmatic in front of me, id pop on doggystyle. and its easy to say yeah but snoop had dr dre. but you may remember when dr dre laft death row he hooked up with nas and created the firm. and where did that go? but yeah i think its a matter of opinion. nas and damien marley's collabo is still the shiznit though!
