yeah mine were legit to. The club manager handed me the tickets and said sell these.. whats the event anyways?
-
there is one installed in my company car, I try to turn up the tunes and it turns it back dow again... very annoying... awesome if your lending your gear out though!
-
Hey wassup mate! I love your music choice! where you from?
-
I used to just go to the carpark near the venue on the night of the event and sell em there, plus i had a list of friends/people who were into that type of music and i just texted em all, it was usually for hardstyle or hard trance so it has its dedicated followers and is quite easy once you get a few numbers. however you dont really make much cash doing it.. I only did it to help out the guys that were playing at the event to make em look better..

Has anyone had any problems with denon before? I have a couple of 3700's and they have done very well so far, I would have loved the pioneer 1000 mk3's but at the time could not afford to splash the extra cash. I think the only problem I've had is there not as simple to use as the pioneers however you get used to it. Cbg sounds like you've got some awesome equipment! I wish I could afford the best but paying off a home loan you sometimes have to settle for second or third best and hope for the best. Jaytee you would know the feeling of wishing you could afford the top of the line and not knowing if the other brands will fail you.

Oh yey lol! Wazza gets my point! I should not have chosen the mixer as my example lol. Thanks for that wazz as I did not know any of that, yet now I do!
-
Ah Meh... Whatever lol I tried.. My example was and title was misleading to my point I think... Sorry
-
JOk so the forum title is not what I was trying to get at. Your right the behringer mixer was not faulty however it was not what was advertised and therefore I felt letdown, I agree I did get what I paid for as I said in the post that it was a cheap entry level mixer. To you this may seem silly however to people who are looking to purchase there first set up maybe very valuable, are you saying that you have never ever purchased anything and it did not live up to your expectations? Everyone hasade a bad choice at one time or another but sometimes people are too proud to admit that they made a mistake...

Um I don't know how to do it man or I'd be hosting a forum lol, but the apps are optimised so you can see the website on your iPhone heaps better. When I post from my phone the page sometimes rejects it. I think anyone can make an app. Maybe iTunes.com has a section on it?
-
Um thanks.... I'm not sure you understood the post but yes what you say is true.
-
please make an app for Iphone Cupe? Like the facebook one? Easier to stay in contact while on the run (I work all over Australia)
-
lol reminds me of Hellraiser... He just dosn't show up lol even though he has been booked and paid a deposit... Bexta is alright but for a hard Dj thats a chick i much prefer Jewelz.

nice job, I last shuffled to bexta at big bass back when it was at the Palace in St Kilda, She rocked it.. I remember she played an electric guitar in her set it was mad!

Hey everyone, whenever we purchase a new piece of equipment we always try our best to research what is best for our needs and will give us the longest life. so I thought we could choose a piece of equipment that has failed us in the past someway and list it along with the faults that we found with it. ill go first, What? Mixer Brand? Behringer Serial number? VMX 100 2 channel Reson for purchasing? First mixer it was cheap Problem? Bpm counters were constantly out since I taught myself how to mix I tried to use them as a guide instead of my ears, It took me alot longer to lean how to mix. Poor sound quality Poor component quality Has it put me off the brand? No its an entry level mixer and the mixer still works going to give it to my nephew to play with

Wanted: CDJ-400 x 2 and DJM Mixer (Brisbane area)
skyblue replied to Jaytee's topic in Buy & Sell - Gear
Jaytee I say go for what you want, If you can afford it now then thats awesome. why purchase something for half the price and then realise that you are not happy with it, The first Cdj's I purchased were crappy second hand Citronic shit things that the pitch was not accurate and I had to constantly adjust the pitch in the mix due to not having a fine enough adjustment. In a way it sucked ass however it did teach me to mix with shitty equipment (no bpm counter and shitty pitch controll = much better dj on better equipment) if i could mix on those things I could mix on anything lolz... cept for vinal as i have not ventured there yet.. any takers to teach me? CBG?? If you purchase something crap for $500 and in 6 months you wanna upgrade to be happy I think you just wasted $500... -
What are the guidelines for these battles? how do you have to record it? (i.e just a Audio recording or do you guys like video too) where do you post it? can it be done in person locally? ( I dont think I have the neccisary equipment / internet access to do it??
-

Really?? even if its run only for its members?? The yacht club i used to be involved in used to run raffles with its members without any issue.. poo how dissapointing!
-
Well im donating $50 for the first prize, Caleupe can decide what will entice people to donate / buy a ticket the most. I agree some tracks or something small yet wanted by the forum community.
