2 completely different things... 1. breaks is not spelt brakes... 2. mpc is an AWESOME piece of kit. 3. Ableton will take you further producer wise. Use an MPC, see if you like it, they are EXTREMELY fun to play with... Then try out ableton, its a long road but it is worth it if you stick to it. I would get ableton

Why not just get a mic and get someone, or yourself to do it... why worry about samples so much... fruity loopin l...

Yea i have this one, isnt too bad... but not the best. I would suggest "the Dance music manual - rick snowman", best music production book ever IMO
