how about the lan+usb? if its talking about the cat6 cable.. isnt that @ 1Gbps?

to be honest just by looking at a picture of the cdj400's and using my RMP-3's i say i have the same features and then some. =)

with the 3.5'' hdd enclosure.. what is this IDE to usb2.0 whats IDE? or OTB IDE to usb Or ide +sata to Lan+usb2.0 lan as in a cat5?

for the ones you suggested according to a quick glance at the specs wouldnt the WD be better. because it has 64mb cache. ? and sure the disk fast. but how about the housing.. wouldnt it be capped to usb speed or esata plug.. if so what are the speeds on a usb2 or esata.

cool ill look into them. say i get the housing... and i put it in my bag and my bag gets thrown around.. effects..? i know SSD's wouldnt get effected but what are the chances of it dying on me if it was in that situation ?

yeah ssd is out of the question unless you can get me a cheap as fuck one. =D with a lot of space. that would be sick.

yeah getting a ssd of 1tb.. will be way expensive LOl. could you give me a few links to building one my self..? or an "enterprise" grade drive? just to add again want it as an external =) thanks.

lets not get off topic can you post a thread with your gear somewhere. and we can discuss it there.. last thing on it.. 7k is outrages! ok so.. i wouldnt pay for VDJ... ive used it before and compared to other software it is really low grade.. Traktor just shits on it. serato i know it does but personally never used it.

naa it was a mates done it free lol. if they actually wanted me to dj i would of charged haha was a conjoint bday too with the misses too.

hijacking this thread i also done a small gig.. on saturday.. all i did really was bring my gear to a mates party put on a cd and left it. was shitting it because other people were playing with it and had drinks and food around it. but turned out a good night. and checked this arvo if anything was broken. all good. apart from one cord. as a note to my self i really need a roadcase!

yeah you dont need to purchase the software just the hardware. it should come with traktor scratch pro.

oh and also what reloops were you looking into?? rmp3-b and what mixer? give us actual model names and stuff..
