What material is a slipmat made out of..? anyone know specifics? size and all.. ?

yeah.. but actually doing it.. i have no skill in mapping anything.. so im scared i'd just give up on trying to map it if its too hard.

im considering getting one of these. but im scared that i wouldnt be able to map it to my liking.. would i be able to map it for effects and be able to adjust the wet and dry?? like the "mixer" mode on the launchpad?
