i got a pair of audio technica phones werent cheap but well worth it i like phones that cup my ear and i carnt hear shit outside of them when im in the mix so its easy to count the bars and concentrate on setting the cue

na bruz you dont have to be anyone to get a gig, all you gotta do is play what the people want the more you get on the floor the more the promoter will want you around and even be willing to pay more and if your consistant they will ask you to stay for an ongoing time slot. hope that helps

i used the 900's last nights and are practically identical to the 1000's except for a few cool features like the 900's slip effect which when activated now matter what you do to the song cut scratch loop crush or whatever the feature puts the song back to where it was which blew my mind and imo i would get just for that, but if you have zero desirablity for usb id say go for the 1000's, at the end of the day they are what will remain in the clubs for a while yet
