i shoulda been more specific, you gotta sell your self eg myspace facebook soundcloud mixcloud so that with the demo you give out they can search your name and see you have a presence even if its one that you have made up do what you gotta do but cbg is spot on i suggest going to where you wanna play and talk to the promoter they only speak one language and thats cash money, tell them you can 100% get x amount of people to come when you play and youll get the gig

ill give you some good advice, go to inthe mix top 50 dj list for 2009 or 2010 find the djs in that list you want find thier myspae details, then on their page thell all have a link for bookings follow the links and email their agents and then youll have your head line dj
