yer man i was so upset i really wanted to hurt someone it was my first time playing at the venue, i looked like an epic noob i still cringe thinking about it

im only on 60-80 an hour but i do take my fairshare of freebies like free entry for friends and drinks im with cupe 300k is a bit how r u going especially considering how many times theve failed in their sets

my biggest fuck up was playing at peak time and the dj before me uses the chanel faders instead of the cross fader so he sets both chanells to thru in stead of A and B so i jump on not even checking what the channels were set too and for about 4 mins everyone could hear me searching through the next tracks it was such a shit effort

i recon do it if you can hook up vdj to their equipment but if not id say only give it a crack if you know all your music to heart like where youd start mixing from and so on because with no experience on the cdj your gunna have so much shit going through your head your not going to want to have to worry about song selection but lots of things can happen on cdjs like the bpm counter doesnt work properly or you just carnt make the beat match with out pushing it along all techniques you need to practise It all comes down to you getting live experience is awsome but you may have to swallow a little bit of dj ego and do your wedding style fades

at work tonight one of the dj's left one of hes cd cases behind so i put it aside and by closing time, 3 hours after he left. there still hadnt been a phone call so the cds are now in my possession should i call the bloke and give em back or should finders keepers rule the day because i know if i left my case behind there would be no chance of getting it back and it was only luck that had me see the case before one of the 1500 patrons grabbed it for themselves??
