so ive had these for almost a year now and they are by far the best headphones iv ever used anyways on saturday night i was mixing away and all of a sudden my left earphone stoped playin base, after i got home i tested it again and it still wasnt working, then the next day i tested it and it works fine is this common? w t f i dont want it to go out again while im playing im divided weather to go buy a new pair

yer i was taliking about using soft ware like abelto or mixmeister. although if you release a working promo with software you have to be able to do the same when u play out but with recording live mixes i agree with hearts grab some paper write a tracklist and only practice your transition write down cue points and notes

i voted average cause your using vdj to mix, but apart from that you have all the elements at work just have to watch your eq in and out of tracks and work on your phasing but good work so far

yer you can use virtual dj with the 400s but if you want a dvs go serato or tractor

how annoying is it when you are in a hotel or bar and see i djing obviously cueing up tracks for a transition and when it comes to the end of the track they just smack the fader accross. its not hard to practice simple transitions, your not a fuckin rockstar no one in the building is here to listien to you play get creative or fuck off

your gunna get so many different answers to this post but ill do the best i can with my experience when making my mixtapes i think what makes them decent is that i do it over a few weeks i dont try and make it work like ill come back every day or so often ad add a lil move stuff around and tweak and eventually you come back and listein to it and realise this is the shit. as for sorting out your tunes i spend alot of time on serato preping all my music filling each song with all the cues and creating loops for most of them, it akes a lot of time but i realised earlier on that if your playing a club and the guy plays pretty much all the tracks you were gunna play it can kill your set. so buy preping pretty much all your music with cues you dont have to be as familiar with the tunes and you can still push through a decent set and lastly sorting out your tunes is hard as fuck but im happy with the system ive adopted i use a dvs but my cds are burnt in the same way eg hiphop 2010crate Hip Hop (clean) Hip Hop (dirty) Hip Hop (old school) Hip Hop (extendz) Hip Hop (mashes) Hip Hop (peakhour) Hip Hop (warmup) and so on for the other genres hope it makes sence

i fell in love with the nosie button on the side it produces a sick white noise id love to get my hands on oone of these but i do agree that latency looks like a bit of an issue
