ive been playing some gigs with a partner for a few years now, he specialises in rnb hiphop retro i play house etc, its a good relationship keeps us covered for whatever the night may bring, we both play every genre tho but in general we play for about an hour before swapping, or if the crowd swings and one of us are better suited to play for that crowd then we swap

good work, youll never realise what you forgot to do or what more you could of done untill you are in front of the decks on the night of the gig

you could tone the electro back a bit and try play some more commercial top 10 tracks that have been remixed for the club (super cheese) the sort of stuff you hear on the radio on the weekend. That way you will be able to say hey im playing the chart and its up beat

why not traktor? if your in to edm in opposed to hiphop you cant go wrong

hey guys long time no post ..... neways i started a dj entertainment company and we are getting very busy, we have just landed a new venue in surry hills sydney bout 50 meters from central station and were gunna be providing entertainment every wednesday night im looking for new staff to help dj theres no particular genre but at this stage we are guessing the crowd will be backpackers and uni students im looking for expressions of interest from any djs (18+) that wanna have play, were still working on equipment, at the very least it will be 400's and a 700 mixer when the night kicks off we will invest in newer gear. no experience nessicary, however you do need to be a team player and play for the crowd this is a good chance to play in a busy venue you can private message me if you are interested or message me on email jarndell86@gmail.com

i think it is a direct swipe at the novation/ traktor line of controllers, almost all the features on the unit are already available with traktor, seratos playing catch up
