thanks guys. snares ok I think I get it. it sounds confusing but can a snare but only once per bar? because I do hear like a bla bla bla SNAP bla bla bla SNAP type thing. do I count the snap part as 1?

I just got my setup less than a month ago. I am getting the hang of beat matching house, hardstyle music making progress. However with dubstep not making any progress =/. Any tips on beatmatching dupstep much appreciated. thanks

I have been messing around trying to mix out of a song. However the part I choose to mix in the song doesn't start on same pharse. Is that acceptable for into/outro mix? what I mean is I counted 5 bars from a point I thought would sound right. is all that matters that the beats are lined up at same tempo and it sounds ok? maybe doesn't make sense I can post up the song and times with pictures later when I get home.

I did bit more reading curious what you guys think of refurbished mapbookpros? Seems like a good idea but the price isn't that much better maybe save $150. thoughts?

thanks so when im practicing beat matching using basic cue/pause play buttons I wont be cheating with quantize on. thanks thanks

2 things im having trouble working out. I am reading the manual and trying to google but thought might be good idea to to post here as I keep searching for answer. XDJ 1000 Quantize mode. If I use Quantize mode does it just line up loops and hot cues? or does it also lock in the normal cue? When I say normal cue mean the big pause/cue button on xdj. I am practicing beat matching so I don't want it to auto snap into place but if its just for loops I would leave it on. Another thing is I analysed all my songs in rekordbox, updated onto usb but I still cant get the main big waveform on the xdj display. How do you setup the main waveform? Not being lazy I am reading manuals atm ><
