  1. i've heard from several people recently that they are pretty average live - i thought as much after noticing the majority of their tracks are full of autotune. the guy clearly can't sing.. lol
  2. nice post phatchance! thanks
  3. got torq instead of serato - saved the $$.. in some ways i'm happy with the decision, i mean, it works and all, but stability on the long haul is questionable and latency leaves a little to be desired. fair enough, i've adjusted to the latency, but it does eventually start doing your head in.. if i was going to give advice now, it would be throw in the extra $$ and get serato.
  4. I think this is my undoing sometimes, all those knobs and buttons -- i can't help myself!!
  5. Bravo, Daz - great post. I agree with Luke, "It was the post I wish I could've made".
  6. rotfl! welcome!
  7. I've never pre-planned a set, funny enough. Probably why so many of them fail .. lol Every now and then a gem comes out of it, or at least a good hour or so you can pluck from a 4 hour recording that sounds ok.
  8. Nice.. bring it on! I want first dibs on bumper stickers and slipmats! lol
  9. QLIMAX!!!! (drooooooool) I love hardstyle/hardcore. Always have. Own craploads of it.
  10. I'm definately with Blodders here. I'd be more than happy to pay whatever it is extra to have a 100% Australian shirt with ADJF on it, purely on principle. Also other colours would be great too Oh.. And by the way, edit your dictionary so colours doesn't come up as a spelling mistake (bloody americans). lol
  11. Click here for my trance mix 3/11/07 Ok.. This is a bit old. 2 reasons: 1. This is one of my better trance mixes. 2. I haven't recorded a mix for ages since I changed my setup and it isn't as easy as hitting 'record' in torq.. lol
  12. i'm oldskool and currently using cubase vst lol
  13. Hey there. I'm a bedroom DJ and avid analogue music equipment collector. I DJ live on faderwave.net on early saturday afternoon usually playing some harder styles (or maybe some trance). I'm not terribly good at DJ'ing, but have a load of fun doing it regardless. I'd rather get better at something and enjoy the experience at the same time, instead of being like a mix-nazi and getting all cut when things don't work out right. Starting to get into production and recording (which is bloody hard with an analogue setup). Most of my stuff is unfinished, and I slowly work towards some kind of "complete album" which i'd like to achieve within the next year. I've been on djforums.com for a while now, saw this place had finally started up, and thought i'd come over and say hello. So, is this gonna bring more Aussie DJ's into the forum-world? Or are we just gonna end up with a duplicate of Australians from djforums.com? lol I'd love to think the former, but you never know. We need ADJF bumper stickers or something.. hahahah
  14. My first post.. One half of the room: The other half of the room: Like the dodgey table-job? lol .. and there is more (digital piano, old 1978 strings/organ synth that needs fixing, other old random stuff i don't use much anymore)
