Hey guys, looking to start some study in Sound Design (im thinking a bachelors) does anybody have any experience with any of the mentioned institutes in the title? (AIM, JMC, SAE etc.) essentially looking to gain indepth knowledge on electronic production initially, with my final goal being qualified to work in a studio. Cheers peeps

To the powers that be, just a friendly suggestion about the naming of the Hardcore & Gabber section, if it was changed to "Harder Styles" or "Hard Dance" i feel it would be a little bit more appropriate. I think it may also help to generate a bit of growth for some of the harder styles DJ's become a bit more attracted to the forum, as Hardcore is a bit of a niche genre within the Harder Styles and seeing the sub section branded as Hardcore only may deter them from using it for other genres within the Harder Styles spectrum. Its an absolute shame to hear about the guy passing away.. He was from Victoria aswell (Which is Q-Dance's least favourite state after the events of X-Qlusive 2008) its the last thing they want against their name Regardless it was an amazing day one probably the best edition production/setup wise to date. heres a pic from the end show last night:

Lol sounds like me back in the days, minus the pacifier Haha, what about the Johnson2Johnson small baby powders? Mad! i used to love Happy Hardcore back in those days and i remember seeing Technoboy play a 2 Hour set at Utopia 2006 and that was the end for me.. Hardstyle all the way from then on Fuck the shuffle scene was epic back in those days, so much fun Oh and electrical tape on the soles of your shoes at Subbies they used to put this white shiny plastic confetti on the floor in the small Hardstyle room for shufflers which was always awesome EDIT: Just realised what video that is, lol good ol Shuffle practise IV, a friend of mine showed me shuffling at a rave when everybody was still playing with glowstick on strings and i was like wtf is that lol, but it quickly caught on

Used one.... Just can't seem to work out how to squeeze the other in. And I'm out of time. The first verse fits in a few of the breakdowns, just mix it in with Audacity.. there's still time!

Not too bad, you have the right idea and the mixing is clean (no double beats) things i would do a bit differently is tighten up the mix points, dont let the end of the previous track play out to the point where you dont really have a bassline, just claps and snares etc. from the intro and outtro of each song being mixed together is something to avoid if you can. some of the transitions were a little dry aswell, try filtering out the previous song before the break of the next song.. make full use of post fader fx if you can aswell

And I think shes done! gotta give it a few more listens to make sure im happy with the track arrangement but im guessing it will be upped in the next few hours
