Lol at least 2 or 3 times a week.

I totally understand what you are saying. And i do agree with you. However the room i am building is the size of a normal suburban home. Its around 20 squares in total. And because my property is 10acres i am not fussed about noise.
-
It just for home use! But I am building my new house and getting a purpose built room (man cave) so I can put my decks in it, jacuzzi, pool table, daytona usa, and home cinema!

looks like not many people out there do!

Cheers thanks for the advice. I am thinking of running a rcf 8006 as sub with jbl jrx125's and a set of qsc kw series 15. I think that should be ok.

I thought these were brands that are used at clubs. I was told they are regarded as fairly high end stuff .

Cheers thanks anyway mate. I just assumed there would have been more users out there being such a mainstream brands

Hi guys, I just wanted to confirm is it ok to mix and match speakers? I currently have a set of jbl Marx 125 speakers and I am looking at adding rcf 8006as sub along with a set of qsc 15 inch powered speakers (k-series ones) Would that sound ok? I will purchase a proper cross over also to set it all up. Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, I am tossing up between theQSC KW152 Powered PA Speaker and the EV Electro-Voice ELX115P 1000W Powered 2-Way 15" DJ PA Speakers. I am personally really leaning towards the QSC as they have more bottom end then the EV's. But anyone else out there who has used either or both of the speakers? Any feedback would be great. I want to be able to plug my ipod directly into the speaker and just use it for small occasions but would like something that has a decent bottom end. From what I have herd so far the EV's are good but not as good the QSC's.

I will try and get hold of it.

Ok I have checked everything out with Pioneer and they are happy to help if the item comes with a international warranty which it does so all good there. My only real concern is in regards to the different voltage difference. Does anyone know if mixer will work? I dont want to stuff around with power supplies etc Any info would be greatly appreicated it
-
Hrrm interesting. I had never herd of them before. What type of price point do they have?
-
What are they like terms of quality compared to the pioneer
-
Thats the thing i want something for the effects. And by the sounds of things djm 2000 is the way for maximum effects!
-
After looking at the reviews i am leaning towards the djm2000.
-
Yeah i know. I just hate buying stuff and then 6 mths later something better is out. I just want something that is expandable and future proof for a few yrs.
-
Thanks heaps bud. Very helpful info. Now for what its worth, which one is best value for money? Only using it to stuff around at home.

Hi fellas Can someone tell me the major differences between the 2 mixers. I had a look online and i struggled to find any. If anyone could even post a personal experience with either mixer that would be great.
-
Interesting. I might even give them a call and find out more.

Yes I am aware of the import costs as I have been stung in the past when purchasing car audio from the states. Depending on the price I can get the item for I might just purchase it locally and see how I go. Do pioneer have a international warranty like for e.g apple? and do you need proof of purchase etc
-
Yeah i know what your saying. But the price is just too good. I am looking at getting it from Japan
