ye but how to do you disable it i dont need my mic working

when i use ableton and play the sound from my laptop my mic is picking up the audio and playing it through my speakers or headphones when i have them plugged in ! how do i disable the mic so it picks up no noise !

i recently wanted to use my novation twitch with ableton after following their youtube video on how to do it i opened their pre made mapping but when i tried to use the faders or knobs nothing was working ! if anybody has any ideas on how to fix this problem ? or does anybody have a video i can catch to manuely map a MIDI controller to perform with ableton would help a lot thanks!
