you can record on your 57SL, dont give up on that mixer yet, the future of that mixer with the bridge and other serato goodness is all nicely mapped out for you , or if you are using 2.0 you can pre map the internal dj EFX to your 57 how ever way you want them, which make your dj life much more fun, go to www.serato.com for more

sorry I got what you are talking about, I would recommend using loops in serato because they are more accurate and if the control cd runs out of time serato will go into internal mode ,

milk crates thats shithouse, I am trying to work this Idea by making a few of these tables up for people but problem is trying to make them light but solid(esp the legs) for shipping around the country, I am about 80% finished on another table, this table is gonna hold 2 CDJ 800s and a DJM3000 mixer, with a laptop stand and a pull out shelf for a midi keyboard , should post up some photos this weekend
