Hey guys, Has everyone here seen and downloaded the sample sounds for this remix competition: http://www.30beats.co.uk/ Really unique opp to mashup some mechanical music and potentially win a car which is an added bonus. Oh yeh, I remember seeing that one somewhere before. Quite similar to when James May from Top Gear tried producing his own car orientated version of the show's theme tune. We used Hyundai's i30 to create the sounds, thankfully it's a really versatile car so we had plenty of recordings to play around with. Hi chaps, I've just completed a piece of work for Hyundai which I wanted to get your feedback on. The project basically involved recording all the different sounds made by their car and then somehow turning them into a music track...which I'm pretty sure is something you don't hear/see everyday!
