achaly worked it out by browing WP forums... Had to change permissions at ftp. then could edit header.php in the theme editor. added this code on keywords: under the line that says: <?php wp_title( '' ); ?>will see if that helps once propagated. if this is not the right way then feel free to let me know broshars

s2 is good but not enough buttons for press press djing. get an f1 with it for full control of remix decks. Combo of s2 and f1 > s4 for less money IMHO. also: dont write off itch just yet... any itch controller gets updated to full serato dj over the course of the next few months.

I'm finding it really annoying how when I search my library it brings up this useless column on the right hand side which I can't drag and drop from. and when I go to see my whole library by choosing to see "songs" I can no longer see my playlists. It means when I get a new song and want to drag and drop it into several playlists at once I cannot without using the dumb arrow system they've added. Workaround?

Anyone else been updated to this whale yet? Normally I dont struggle with change but this update has twisted my melons a bit. Too much change for no good reason IMO. Comments?

yes mate, all vinyl can warp, just like lengths of wood will if allowed to warm up or cool down too quick. If you keep all your vinyl stacked vertically with solid book ends they shouldnt warp. If you leave them out resting on an angle and a sunbeam falls on it you can expect it to be unplayable pretty quickly. Never leave it near a radiator/hot water pipe etc. I have in fact seen a vinyl placed on a deck in the sunshine and watched it bend upwards almost instantly as it warped. This is why DJs alwasy go under cover in rain or shine.

^aye. and you dont have to buy fancy stickers like these:

I notice most of your q's have been dealt with in true adjf style but i just thought i would offer a few thoughts on "types" vinyl: Vinyl does get manufactured in various weights, these affect thickness, the thickness of vinyl allows for a deeper physical groove and the depth of groove affects the dynamic and so volume of the sound. This doesnt mean that thicker vinyl = louder song. A crap cutting plant will still cut a crap groove on good vinyl. But generally speaking if a vinyl is the well known 280gsm thickness then it has more chance of being a good piece of pie. So has more chance of having good sound quality. Also: if you are going to scratch or manipulate vinyl at all then you need to pick an individual pressing where the centre hole is actually in the centre and not too "sloppy". Sloppy means a hole that is not quite round and which wobbles around the spindle. No one likes a sloppy hole Serato or timecode vinyl are nearly always very good. Other pressings can be really shit even though the song is great. Sometimes you just need to go with it coz it's the only pressing you'll get or you're buying online. But if you are in a shop and they have multiple copies look for the best individual piece. And dont buy a sealed copy without opening it and checking the thing itself. First check it fits on the spindle tight and doesn't wobble, then listen to it in reliable headphones. A shop which doesn't let you do this is not a vinyl shop IMHO.

anyway, the employer has decided on 850's. They are buying 4 pairs and the extra cost of 900's is the final deciding factor. SO i guess I'll just have to see how they go. Will review once I have.

i'll take that as a yes then. deleting.

that works a treat mitch. dunno if i was dumb not realising how I could do that but if you dont have the details for how to do it posted somewhere on the boards you should. Radio in the car FTW.
-
aye mitch i know how to do that. problem is when I put the url into my browser it auto loads the quicktime player before I can bookmark the link. And I cannot save the quicktime player as an icon. I can save an adjf page as a home screen icon, load it, wait for it to load, then click on the link at the top of the screen... best I can get so far.

HAHA, i think we need a new emoticon just for us: oh, and yes, black thought cannot do a thing wrong in my book.

^ no idea mate, I work in a dif country, I never do mates' functions, plus I'm using a dif currency and booked via a high rent agency who charge more than most for a tailor made service. it's a big question with a lot to consider and def deserves it's own thread. Post in the mobile DJ boards and you should get Sol, Vlad and hopefuly Source offering some input. Funky Steve also springs to mind as someone who knows the mobile game. Apologies to any other front line grunts who I've forgotten
