is it better to learn scratching with the cross fader normal or reversed?

ok well this is it. using the fresh and ahh yeah samples. ive been using the fresh sample the last 24 hours but was my first time scratching with the ah yeah sample... gah i sholdnt even be putting this up haha CONSTRUCTIVE critisism please. yes i know most of the time i wasnt scratching in time with the beat. im in experienced though Audio 6.mov - 2.09MB

well ive been scratching for about 18 hours hahaha. i dont really know what im doing, i have 1 beat and a few scratching samples... ill upload a 2-3 minute sample. and id love any tips to help me progress....like crossfader techniques(how to hold them). names of tricks and how to do them (not so technical ones of course) anyway ill try go get a decent recording. everyone cover your ears haha

no shit i was playing with one of these a week ago, it is rediculous funk, my mate has a recording studio for his band, has guitrs bass's didg's slides and shit like this, we had a massive jam sesh ahaha,. im going to be posting up a rediculous studio soon, the club i play at owns an office in the aprtments above it, they just bought a second one and are turning into a 50'000 production studio. they already have a $5000 table imported, speakers worth $4000 each, to MASSIVE duel screen, every DAW, its going to be amazing and us dj's can book in for like 3 days at a time.....cheers

CBG and chev should both be + rep'd the manage to give me feedback on pretty much all my tracks on soundcloud as well as on the threads i make here. it did get to the point were i was giong to start commenting on my own threads giving myself feedback:(. as for mix's.....i rarely listen to mixes let alone analize them, and well i probaly have the time to, but i cant sit there for 30minutes thinking about what he is doing behind the decks, i put a mix on, and go do something so its playing in the backround, i barely notice it. ive been slack this last week as well. ill pick my game up

i back this 100%. weve been playing alot of closing gigs recently (4 till 6am), and we were told to hold the dance floor for as long as possible and make people buy drinks, because if we play crap, people leave, no one buys drinks and there is no point of the club being open. having no alchole after 3 is silly.

oh and for dubstep Trolley Snatcha - The Future Doctor P - Sweet Shop oh and eskamon - fine objects (jonny b remix) goes ok too
