i think this is the most offtopic a threads gone, started as an intro, then onto how girls fake......mixing. then cbg and djaz have a little chat about djaz's name, then onto the favorite porn sites, ima get it back ontrack. Welcome
  5. hahahaha, you.........you win. all of the above + ok um, make a demo cd that is based around the music you would like to play, but add in other elements to show that your not just stuck to the 1 genre. e.g. just say you like rnb, play some rnb, a fwe breaks, maybe some rnb influenced dubstep. or if your into dutch house, through in some jackinghouse, bit of fidget, possibly some electro/thrashy electro and a bit of dubstep to close it. and so on. be moddest, telling everyone how fricking awsome you are wont get you anywhere unless you have some solid proof, and if you do have the skills, being big headed about it is just gonna get you not very well liked dont stop bugging people find the promotors of the club on facebook and send them your mixtape, hassel them for a spot. once you get that spot though, its all about what you do behind the decks which is going to get you your next gig, if you get asked back, you should continue being asked back for a while. The only help we can offer in that field is practise(unless you ask a specific question)
  6. maybe, i dunno.......whos phil collins?
  7. last years stereosonic was the worst organised festival ive ever seen
  8. welcome dude, where have i seen your name before? very very familiar
  9. ive played a 194kbs track that has sounded better then a 320. before this is was 320 or die, now im open ill play anything just so long as what is coming out of the speakers is at a high quality.
  10. wasnt worth paying the $100 to keep it going, other things had become a higher priority at that point, would of loved to of had the time for it but dont at th moment seeing as im living with out the net till october(at the rents at the moment)
  11. these be my fav turntable vids And my favorite. mainly because its such a great example of how experimental you can be with djing, this is where i want to head, not the same styl of music but the same style of djing, creating on the fly, experimental, entertaining,
  12. everything is stolen. the average person only has 2 100% original thoughts through out their whole life that havnt been influenced by their surroundings. its just how much youve been influenced
  13. dont think ill be going hey, afrojack and caspa are all ill really be going for cheers for the heads up but
  14. techsssssssss. and then give them to me , actually im gonna try track down a cheap pair soon with my tax...mmmmmmmmm vinyl
  15. club bedroom, want to get a mix on radio soon, thinking of hitting up 87.6 dance radio or something, its the dance radio down in jindabyne, you guys should do the same, may get a featured mix
  16. yeah pretty much what buck said. all clubs will/should have the cdj's/turntables. for me all i bring is cdj's headphones and weve only just bought a laptop into the equation for sampling purposes. if i was djing with computers i would never be too carefull, anything digital in the djing world ive found to never be 100% correct. e.g you load a track up which you know is 130bpm and your bpm counter is saying 186bpm or something stupid. a PRIME example of this is friday night, we played along side ColdBlank at candy's, well established dj/producers from the US, really experienced, but all the equiptment was failling and they couldnt get it working for half an hour. no one knows what went wrong but 1 macbook shat itself then they had forgotten to charge the 2nd macbook which is what half the weight was finding someone with a macbook charger in the club. anyway more to the point, ive left a few answers in Red inside the quote
  17. welcome, to the forums man, good to see your trying to get as close to the original style of djing, even if you are using vdj:) we all start somewhere though man. keep at it though man, keep practising and saving for the setup you want.

  22. its alot more relevant then any input youve seemed to add. all information is helpfull regardless weather you know it all or not, there is nothing wrong with refreshing the memory,
  23. shibby. just to let yall know, got a few tracks in the works . ranging from dusbtep, heavy electro and dutch house haha. also im doing an experimental track, me and a mate recorded a bunch of sounds made with our mouths. we then are gonna try and make a dubstep track using as much vocal sound as we can haha.
