I've got my sights set on either CDJ 400's or 350's, not sure which of the two to choose from though. I have thought about production before, but just seems like the kind of thing that you give thought to, once you've got alot of experience under your belt first, so certainly in the future i'd be open to it. Cheers for the welcomes aswell nice, yeah ive got the 400's had them for about 3 months short of 2 years and havnt had any problems with them, havnt broken once. and they are close enough to what youll use in clubs etc etc. yeah most people seem to think that way, i started producing well before i started djing though, which mad it harder to come to terms with structuring a track, so learning to DJ before producing will deffinatly help you nicely
  2. actually i got asked to play system of a down in wollongong one night, luckily enough though we actually had a chop suey remix, droped it and people moshed haha

  7. now that was a better introduction man . welcome haha. when does this comp for your track finish? im currently almost capped so dont really want to waste them if i dont need to, but if you need votes in the next few days ill check it out.
  8. ill vote for your remix if i like your remix. getting people to vote for you just because you asked them to is cheap man. how about next time introduce yourself, and put something towards this forum before you expect everyone to help you out. now that weve got that past us. Welcome to the forums.
  9. hey guys, were in teh studio and making some music, trying to work out how to drop a sample into the EXS sampler and make a pitch rise build with it. e.g the sample plays over and over faster and faster whilst the pitch is increasing at the same rate, its got something to do with putting it on a loop in the sampler, just cant work it out any help?

  18. i only use my mac for productions so it wouldnt mind me at all, but i deffintly see where people using tractor wouldnt be too keen on it. i could also maybe see it braking alot easier. but damn it looks awsome, and im sure would BE awsome
  19. possible the coolest laptop out, so fucking compact, and for a failry cheap price considering its a Mac http://www.apple.com/macbookair/specs.html
  20. Mac has no viru.......fuck this im not starting another war, it will go on for ever. orrr NEW MAC AIR FOR $1000 IS AS GOOD AS A MACBOOK PRO MAC WINS HAHAHAHAH ok thats enough from me
  21. al comments previously posted in this thread are my own beleif and have no real facts, i state my view because to me Nas has been consitent in every track/album ive heard, where as people like biggie, 2pac, easy, dre, the rest of them, there is a number of songs i dont dig. there will be no end or finish to this discussion because everyone has different musical tastes. Nas was the first rapper i liked, and was the only rapper i liked for a long time, nothing else really appealed to me, which has changed now, i dig alot of other artists. especiialy big and Eazy
  22. dont use shit like this man, this isnt constructuve what so ever, if you dont like it , point out why you dont like it, comments like this arnt going to help anyone, its just going to put a bit of a dent in the persons morale, also theylls probaly never post here again, or anywhere for that matter. I wasn't being serious, and I haven't come across a person on this forum that would give any feedback like this at all (including myself). In any case, you're right. i know, your feedback has been great along with anyone else that provides it, was just stating incase new commers come along read that post and think 'well if i dont like it, ima tell him i dont like it' and thats it. was just pointing it out for future people that wonder through this thread

  24. yeah dude, nas realesed illmatic when he was 18 i think? it has to be the single best album in the whole industry. plus he has better flow. not saying biggie is bad, biggie was sick, and id of loved to see what he would of come out with if he lived, but he didnt, neither did pac, nas did, and he has killed it with every track and album he has made. they dont call him the last real nigguh alive for nothing or the king of NY
  25. and most importantly, when we hear the feedback, it makes us want to go and make some more mutherfucking music!! hopefully willing us into making some tunes you may even be banging out in clubs one day. so even if you scroll down and notice a new post in a genre section you dont ussualy listen to. go have a listen anyway and comment on the way the track was made, and not on your musical taste.
