lets not forget the most important influence on dubstep.... dub. i wouldnt call dub an influence, id call it the main ingredient with the 2 step garage and breakbeat being the influences but yeah, should of mentioned dub :S -

dillion francis live is supposed to be fucking amazing, i think most of stuff is mid tempo but he plays a fast array of style at that speed. im excited to see him

I actually watched an interview with him in it and he admitted tht he doesnt like how far its gone yep, and his new album was such a breath of fresh air, all sounds like the stuff he was doing back in 08. so much more party then all the hevay shit out these days -
maybe the gear was just fucked, ive had issues like that plenty of times!

dubstep came about in the 98/99/00 when people started to merge parts of 2 step with parts of UK garage and a little bit of others. it wasnt coined dubstep untill around 2002ish Everyone seems to beleive that it went from this old chill stuff to this extremely heavy brostep at the hands of people like skrillex. which is wrong. it was actually people like rusko skream and coki who helped start off the heavy scene. these guys were releasing 'heavy' felt tracks around 05/06/07 and it reached a large vast audience, people heard the heavy and it just had a snowball effect. and the heavyer it got the more people liked it, but the less they knew were le dubstep came from. Most people blame skrillex. but its actually rusko's fault, and he hates himself for it hahah (not hates, but he dosent like how far its gone) -

seriously, apart from facebook this is the only place i visit day to day. and this place is free from all the facebook bullshit, just a bunch of like minded people who are all mad whales. everyone has there little row's, but its all quickly resolved when we realise how much of a dope thing we have going on here. nice man! only thing i could say is maybe clean up the bass's, they sound sa little raw, but other then that wicked melodies and what not, cool stuff man!
