like pulse said, we used to chat to him a bit on the pottymouth boards, alot of the big fidget names go on those boards, great for asking them questions. fwe of the guys that go on are tom eq, WoNk, Figure, and a few tothers, not sure if anyone still uses it though. Aniki is a sick producer, one of the first guys i was looking up when i found electro music

this guy is a legend we supported him in sydney(sadely i wasnt there cause i was living in jindy at the time) but my better half did the gig, he had to open the night so when he started it was pretty much dead, btu there was 1 guy in the club getting loose, came up behind the decks with him and was chatting to my mate having beers with him while he was playing, turned out to be GiGi himself haha, super nice guy, obviously loves to party. cant wait for him to come back, super keen to meet him

up to the intro at the moment, loving what youve done so far, dig the kick and snare pattern. i recon maybe a bit of reverb on that bass....sounds maybe a little bit to loud as well. Nice work though man!
-
i disagree, our mixes for tomy's radio were done live. i remember listning to rusko's radio 1 mix and it goes out somewhere halfway through....proving that was done live.

hey man, Learning piano is deffinatly NOT a silly idea....it will only help you, and once youve got producing a song down you will be able ti write all your melodies alot easier and quicker. i myself have no idea how to play piano, so when im writing all my tracks, i just kind of past things into the piano roll and change it all aroudn till all sounds on key...so learning piano would be a great asset in my eyes. about learning how to produce. you mentioned you want either ableton or logic....how about going to their websites and downloading the demo's before you set yourself on buying one. youtube can be dangerous, there is ALOT of videos on there but also alot that can teach you bad habbits and what not. Just read the manual through out and open up your DAW and just go about fiddling with everything you can. my main advice would be, dont go into this thinking of making a track....cause it just wont happen, at least for the first month or three. it will be like learning any other intrument, you have to learn all the basics before you can construct/play a full fledged song. so dont get frustreated if things arnt working it...it takes time and practice a little more practise, then a bit more practise
