thaats silly cupe, posting new releases from artists and events bring people to the blog and then linking them to the forum. if done right it will bring plenty of new people to the forum there for making more posts on this forum which is what u want. thats the point of a music blog, to get as many page views as you can so people see the content, its about targetting an audience. e.g the blog should be about Dance music and Dance music only, as thats what dj's play, and wed try cover all of it. E.g me and/or chev/bonz and any other dub heads would cover dubstep. and in doing that we would make posts on new releases from big names, get people to do mixtapes for our blog, post free 320's from lesser known producers trying to get their name out(providing its good music) Free Tunes always bring people. and wed have other people doing other genre's Say Eggsell doing the hiphop side, Tommy doing the more electo side, CBG doing the more prog/tech house melbourne style. etc etc. cover everything and w pull a big crowd, bringing more like minded people to the forum..... its not something you can do on a forum as everything can get so scatered. on a blog its uniform and in order, 1 post a day, 1 genre a day etc etc, easy for people to understand

i thought you meant wed have the 1 adjf blog and have numorous people adding content to the 1 blog. e.g gandy does sunday posts, id do dubstep wednesdays, crundy would do fight night fridays. etc ect

yes. keep the log in details and shit in VIP so when ever someone wants to make a post about something they can just check back to there to get details and shit and go about the business. also maybe write up how to make a blog post look good, how to embed pics, how to embed songs etc ect

what program are you using?

djaz had the right idea. knowing how to play instruments can help a great deal with producing, as producing is making music as well. knowing piano and all chords is probaly the biggest advantage as you can use your keyboard to record your midi notes. and you will already have an understanding of what notes and chords fit together and shit instead of pasting them in and hopeing for the best (what i do ) drumming is also a great thing to know for production as you will be creating all your own drumbeats eventually. will just help you get past the basic 4x4 drum beats with more experimentation etc

loving this shit man, you make the most epic basslines. your drums sound super weak though!. they just sound like some one tapping some drums lightly in the backround, you need an in your face kick and snare for this track. you could get shit signed man!!!
