listning to this at parklife in 08 im pretty sure. heard stanton warriors then rico tubs drop it, was sold, then i was introduced to DUBSTEP by chev last year sometime whe i posted a DZ track and he was all like 'HOW DARE YOU CALL THAT DUBSTEP' and i read most of posts and got the gist of actual dubstep whichh i now love just as much. which led me to find.

was supposed to play at something similar, a 3000 people event on a private farm, camping and everything, has to go to counsils ad shit like that as well as police, apra and shit like that, ended up being such a massive hassel the event was called off

hey man, that is a quality effort at the excision bass. it still sounds a fair bit muddy, dunno how to clean it up sounds like the excision bass but muffled. sto;; a fucking good effort what did you use?

by smart EQing, alot harder then you think man. alternativly if you can get the instrumental, invert the instrumental audio over the originals audio and technically it should cancell out all the instrumental sounds, think you can do it in soundforge. getting rid of any sound is reletivily hard with out altering other sounds

dont have my mac on me but from memory get 1 osc set to the scrapyard waveform, and chuck an envelope on the wave table knob, then in filter im pretty sure i used comb? and put the same envelope on the res. with the res have the envelop open with the sound instead of closing, thats how i dont get the high pitched sound at the very start of the note.. im pretty sure i put the envelope on the pitch knob in the comb filter, starting at around 9.ocklock and giong up to about 11.45 on the knob, or there abouts. also cant remember what tab its on but turn the voicing up a few, maybe 4 or 6.... let us know how it goes, and just play around with the wavetable placement and the amount of envelope.

from the small experience ive had you have to mix it down so that the master output is peaking at around -3/-6db or there abouts depending on whos mastering it and how much headroom they want. the way i go about it is mute all the tracks cept for my drum track, go to the part of the track that has the most elemtns and have it loop over and over, get the kik drum peaking at like -7db, and slowely unmute things adjusting the volems and shit so they fit together, and by the end when everything is un mutes the master leve shouldnt be going above -3db thats how i do mine anyway

ive got 1980 items on itunes, but id say maybe 900 full length, a fuck load of them are samples ive opened up to have a listen to, about 100 would be my own previews of half finished tracks ive given up on, multiple versions and shit. i have THE most untidy itunes. going to get around to taking out all the essential songs i need to playing and a few things i like listning to and deleteing the whole library
