if your on the main stage at candys, i would not go as heavy as epic. i know tal is an anal WHALE about playing to your set times. im not to sure about what the music is like there now. But when i used to play opens there, id start off with some real disco stuff for maybe the first 30 mins, then bring in more disco house stuff. then some jacking house stuff (hijack, TJR, Tom EQ, Kyle Watson that type of stuff) then for the last 30 mins id play some bouncy electro or old favorites like some daft punk or some party electro But like i said, havnt been to or played at candys in around 18 months, so it may be completely different

krk's are meant for a closed room for producing, not for playing music to a crowd.... Id say buying a pair of decent monitors is number 1. i used computer speakers and bad headphones for the first 3 years of my productive life and it taught me so many badhabits that when i got monitors i had to completely reteach myself to mix each sound. If you get studio headphones, still get some speakers to reference from. When using speakers you have sound leaking from the left speaker into your right ear and vice verse. with headphones your left ear ONLY hears what comes out of the left speaker and nothing from the right. This can give you a distorted view of your panned instruments and how they will sound on a system
