i recon fidget is just a more bouncy crowded version of jacking house. like take a jacking house track, add a crazy bassline to it, tweak everything a bit, and bam you have fidget haha

yeah im just playing with stuff at the moment. with the lion roar and panther snarl, i havnt done ay tweaking or anything, i thinkk with some distortion and other things to make it sound kind of computerised and in place. and yeah nothing is EQed or anything so ill update this post with a more up to date version and hope it all fits together a bit better

i guess scorign would just be like how well it was mixed 'if it was done live' how well all the songs went together etc. so like if it was well mixed, and you thought all the tracks went sweet together, itd be a high score, or if the mixing was good, but you thought the tracks were just kind of chucked together with out much thought. thatd be a midrange score. and if you thought both views were bad, its be a low score etc etc. there isnt a strict crtieria, were just trying to please each others ears

yehyeh, i recon the winner should be decided like this Each person who enter's a mix, ranks everyone else's mix's out of 10. but they cant rate their own. so say if 5 people entered. each person would end up with a score out of 40. and the person with the highest score wins. or was their another way?

ah ok, i dont know much about ableton, had it for 2 weeks then it broke.. dunno if you do it already, but try layering your kicks, like 2 or 3 over each other, have one that is realy punchy, and layer it with one that bounces and has lots of tail, will make a nice full kick. personal prefferance i guess, i love full bouncy kicks in electo track. unless its from proxy or gtronic. also try track down the mightyfools sample pack. has some great stuff in it
