  1. nice man, good work Cupe. this site is realy going places!
  2. where's my money - TC (feature cast re rub) hip hop to dubstep remix. fucking banger
  3. thats true. being a producer makes fuck all money. thats whats fucked about this whole industry. the people who do all the hard work(producers) get no fuckin money. but the dj' can make up to 10's of 1000's a gig if they are a big name...and they just play other people's music. now in saying that im not having a go at dj's they are great, and there is alot of skill involved.. but in all honesty who does the harder work?
  4. fuck all goes to the artist on digital if a track sells for $2. the label gets a cut, the people who press them get a cut, the place who sels the tracks gets a cut. the producer will end up getting like 20c out of that $2
  5. haha yeah. this time will be strickly no dubstep cause were on mainstage. dunno how im going to cope staying in a decent state to play at 4:30. see how i go though haha
  6. http://soundcloud.com/jonny-b-music/wet ... d-up-noise new fidget track up. still a work in progress. going to add the sub bass and make the first drop better/less confusing. and find a good vocal
  7. sup guys, booked again for the 5th of febuary. will be our first time on the mainstage and were closing too, starting at 4:30am till close. going to heavy haha. also our mates slippery when wet dj's are playing right before us from 3:00 till 4:30 so we will be taking over the mainstage from 3am till close. come along!
  8. left some feedback on your soundcloud
  9. yo Cupe. can i swap my 2 tracks around. for 2 reasons, they are better, and not dubstep do people will be more inclined to listen to them i guess. also. the tracks i submitted were made before i cleaned my computer. i no longer have the files/wav's/stems for them. so would be extremely hard to master them if they were choosen. get back to me asap

    yay!

    thanks guys
  11. personaly if you want to start playing in clubs, your better off saving that little bit extra to get the cdj's, so you will be learning on something that all clubs currently use. So you will be more familiar, to get this set up it costs around 2.2k (no speakers or travel cases) its well worth it though dude

    yay!

finaly got my first blog feature . did a remix for Mr.Alex for a track that was being released on scott harri's blog ghetto blaster. have a look and download everone's tracks. they are all bangers. http://ghettoblastahhrecs.blogspot.com/ ... id-ep.html
  13. well the first step is getting your equiptment haha. try to track down a shop called 'lightsounds' they have some pretty good deals for beginer set ups like the cdj400's and the djm mixer. they also sell a large range of speakers. once you have that, you need to start learning how to mix(we'd obviously be more then happy to help you with this). down the tracks once your comfortable and think your ready to start playing in a club, record yourself a mixtape. and distribute it out it out to the clubs. and what not. be persistant and hopefully youll get that first gig, and if you impress it should snowball from there. now that might sound like a simple formula but it takes alot of effort. so its not gonna be a simple easy thing to do. most of the time anyway.
  14. http://soundcloud.com/jonny-b-music/weg ... king-remix well i couldnt fit the name in the title but this is it Wegue wegue - Buraka Som Sistema & pongo love(knocked up noise jacking remix) its more of a refix as its not finished and i havnt added my own synth yet, im also gonna take all the bass away and make my own sub bassline but some jacking love for you all. have a listen
  15. you can get done for mixing unreleased tracks (which would mean youve riped it from somewhere or stolen it costing them money. even if the producer gave you the track, youd need the labels permision to use the unreleased track in a mix.
  16. New Collab of me and Cures Productions. have a listen. http://soundcloud.com/jonny-b-music/fre ... es-jonny-b
  17. yeah i know its their. but ther orignal has there i think so ima keep it like that. and eggsell id say it would be, scott harris is pretty big and this whole thing is for his blog, which is a fidget blog, and scott harris has done remix's for people like wonk and rivastar i think? not sure.
  18. yeah if there isnt any profit in it you can sample what ever you want, well i do and as far as getting release clearnce the label dosent do it, they ask you to do it im pretty sure? maybe both help im not sure. but there is like a rule. something like if the sample goes for onger then a few seconds you have to ask if not you can use it anyway
  19. New original have a listen http://soundcloud.com/jonny-b-music/gar ... d-up-noise
