so instead of posting a new thread each week or what ever. thought id post 1 with all the up coming gigs i know of. so here they are, try get along to 1 or more of them if you can and make us look good 26th of feb @ candy's aparmtent. Play from 4:30am till close 27th of feb @ The Grand Hotel(aka coonies) in wollongong. play from 10:30 till 12:00 12th of march @ the grand hotel, playing before bass kleph 12th of march @ Candy's. we race up after our set at bass kleph to play the 4:30 slot again haha 25th of april @ MONSTEROCKNROLLARAMA PYJAMA PARTY. at bawley point this last even is an overnight camping mini festival . it has hardcore music, rock, surf indie, and ending the night is us dj's. last time they pulled like 2.5k people so its half decent.

thats just the break that ive sampled and choped up. i dont think it sounds out of beat, not sure. i know what your talking about, its when i bring the kick and snare into it over the break chop

ok ive been working on this track. im after a certain type of wobble, and i cant fukin make it and its doing my head in. so for now ive just sampled and tweaked the bass. its not my own sound. i wish i could make it. anyway working on it now, found a little vocal. ill upload it tonight sometime.

yeah i just listn for the kick doubling up if i go out of beat. and if it is a miniscule amount where you cant realy tell, i listen for the hats on the track im bringing in to see if they sound in time with the track playing, i find it a great tool, as hats are easy to tell if they are out of time just the smallest bit

hha yeah there isnt actaully any sub bass at all, not even any sine waves in the bass. i was on limited time to make this. dad went shopping so had to make it before he got home (he was using the computer.) and ran out of time to add backround effects, sub bass and a vocal chop at some point. cheers for the feedback. bout the only person that gives it haha.

pretty much what chev said. needs to be about how good the music is. but the music needs to come from an adjf representitive so to speak. not someone that just joins up and throws some tracks in then bails. maybe like a 50 post/1 or 2 month minimum?

i honestly think if you make good music you get the spot. and that should be it. thats what its about isnt it? our music? why should someone get the spot based on other things?.
