  1. DROOL!
  2. I reckon the mainstream club goers would love a bit of deep and dark dubstep....................... not O_o
  3. Id jump on it but I dont think I would have enough of that kind of music to go a full hour
  4. Nothin like a mainstream remix to launch a genre
  5. Yeah but its a thousand bucks and it says its brand new, a new DJM800 alone is about 2 grand brand new and the contact email is fstmarkt10??? Its not that hard to get a photo of some cdjs on a box and also there is no seller rating or anything so you dont know if he has sold anything legit before, all signs lead to dodgey dodgeyness!!
  6. I dunno about this, everything is so cheap like 450 bucks for a cdj2000 I mean come on! and I keep getting these weird eBay errors about authorization when I load a new page. I smell something a bit fishy, I wouldn't trust it.
  7. Whats the website?
  8. Im sure there would be some event organisers over there, just look on myspace or facebook or another gay socialising website Im sure you will find some and you might be able to get the occasional gig with them. Perth dubstep scene is apparently really moving so you should probably be moving towards that hahaha.
  9. Dont know much about the aus fidget scene, there are a few trashbags regulars that play a bit of fidget, but not strictly fidget cause I think it gets a bit to much track after track. Other than that I dont hear it out too much, that said I only really ever go to trashbags and VOID events... I think if it was ever gonna really take off it would have already because its not that new of a genre. Still great club music though and Im sure there are crews that organise regular events out there I just dont know about them.
  10. Useless imo, as long as they dont try and charge more for them I might buy them.
  11. Nah you definately pass for contribution in my books, 129 posts in just over a month is solid
  12. burn as an audio CD not an mp3 CD and you shouldn't have a problem as far as I know.
  13. I do! Alright Im gonna go on another ramble about pros and cons cause I think its a good way of feedbackering Pros: -Wicked beat!!! Very techy -Like the high glides up -Love melody in the break, and the bline copying it in the mains -Ahhh, nice little pause, suspenseness -Nice change up through the second drop, really nice. I like that bass better! -Yeah outro, fade in of the melody and fade out on the bass = madd!!! Cons: -Bass patch is too digital for me, but thats just a preference thing, Im sure most other people would like it -WHERES THE BASS?!?!?! Layer a sub under the b line and it would be killer! Definately liked this one, kind of dark which I like, but yeah sub layer is a must if you can work it in.
  14. fri frikety fressssssshhhhhh
  15. Also I think a member should have a minimum contribution to the site, so we dont get blow ins making one post and getting a spotlight, thats like free advertisement for them...
  16. Of coarse the music has to be tight because its representing ADJF, and bad music on the soundcloud is bad publicty, everyone will think we are a bunch of begginners Maybe if there was more feedback happening on tracks we could get a better idea of what people think is tight Or maybe a sticky in the track showcase thread were people submit tracks they think could be spotlighted, and then some form of judging pannel decides if its good enough??? Just brainstroming
  17. Found the plug in finally. http://www.kvraudio.com/get/826.html I haven't used it so I dont know the quality, but there ya go
  18. Anymore entries yet?
  19. I definately think there needs to be some sort of process to getting this so its some what of an acheivement and not just a yeah Im next in line kinda gig, like a peer voted thing. Rep is a good idea but you may have rep, but your tracks are still shitty (aka me ). Any ideas?
  20. Who ever has teh most repz winzzz
  21. Maybe not this week, I got a bunch of new tracks going up shortly so maybe then, Tomy was first in anyways
  22. Yep, cool idea Your obsession with rep is digusting, you should feel dirty
  23. Ok I figured it, take your sample, loop or whatever, put it into sampler, go to the pitch/osc tab in the sampler, turn on glide and put glide time to one second or something. A quick low to high held note gives you the effect, but it doesn't stay in time unfortunately, however you can play around with the glide time so, say if you have a drum loop, you can get it to sync back up on the 3rd beat of the bar or the first beat of the next bar, wherever you want it really, you just need to have the glide time right. Zoom in on the arrangement view to see how many seconds/milliseconds it is to a certain beat and BANG, bobs your uncle
