  1. + rep for you STFU, very good policy
  2. WELCOME!!! :twist:
  3. Yep splitting your bassline is a must use technique, gives you heaps of control and you can effect the ranges seperately. Try doing that other tip you gave on the high passed channel cool shit. That second tip is real cool, like stereo haas zone.

yeah more interviews would be cool , I'd volunteer to do some if you gave me some pointers, I got a few contacts I could interview, like droid sector from geelong, and boot and sook too. Also what happened to the twisted smilie??? it looked like this one be with a crazy grin, I want it back!
  7. office works or ikea
  8. Yamahas definately have one of the flatest responses, especially the msp7s or whatever they are called. Ill post the graph in a sec, pretty much 0db the whole way through
  9. Well if you have traktor and the soundcard it would work fine, and then use time code CDs or vinyl depending on what you get
  10. Been a fan of flying lotus' hip hop/trip hop stuff for ages and Im looking to expand my music library in that kind of area, any artist recomendations or must have tracks?? For reference this is the kind of stuff Im diggin Cheers

  14. Yamahas are boss
  15. You will have to be burning everything if you get 100s unless your planning on getting serato or traktor, and also be warned if you get 100s you wont be able to get your wickidy wickedy scratch miester on because they dont have that function
  16. Whenerver I've yhad em, I haven't used them... but hey I ain't a hot shot DJ either
  17. Thats what got me, I donnt really know what you could do with it, maybe just leave the first drop as it is and then give it a cut paste job on the second drop but go crazy on the lfo and pitch modulation.... dunno really
  18. 900s are better than 1000s though imo
  19. Pros: -Cool intro, love the string sounding kinda things and the delayed sample -Heavy drop! -Always diggin those deep growlers -Likin the sub heavyness, serious bassweight Cons: -Bit more modulation on the bassline, a bit of lfo rate jobby, not to much though, I hate when its over done -The second drop didn't do it for me unfortunately, sounded like a break Solid track, a bit more work and it should be fire *inserts that twisted smilie we used to have but I cant seem to find*
  20. you forgot to link.....
