  3. New one from me, Some serious smoothness on the synth line, its a deep mellow roller, for the head nodders Beige by Cairo Feedback, and some honest to god criticism would be great
  4. Sorry dude, I couldn't get through that ay, nothing wrong with the production, really liked the piano line, but that guys voice made me wanna jump off something really really high, I got 51 seconds in Werd to my 2000th post

  11. Dude mc 808 are so sick, I've wanted one forever, there is a mad video of some guys live jam on one of those, Ill find it in a tick, serious cash though... That is a great setup though, what sequencer are you recording too? Or does the 808 have a hard disk?
  12. ....... *bump1* Staus update plz
  13. some good stuff in there ^
  14. One thing you gotta keep is that glitchy perc line, really like that, other than that I dunno not really my kind thing, needs some work, it sounds a bit flat. I reckon for the bassline, drop it an octave man, I hate sub bass up that high, personal preference though, and maybe add two detuned saws to the patch and low pass a bit, to give some colour, and bring up the sidechained lead that comes in, too quiet. Just some thoughts
  15. Thanks mang Still yet to hear proof of this
  16. Gave em all 5 stars buddy
  17. because the forum is about djing, which would bring the dj's not producers, its just half the dj's produce as well. AKA us I'd say Im the only non-DJ on this forum
  18. yeah opals are nuts! So expensive
  19. *bump1*
  20. another good idea for this. now myself im not very good at this nor claim to have it down pat, but i know people like datsik and excision use it. multiband compression so you can split your track into lows mids and highs and alter each one with out effecing the others, so youd be able to play around with the low freq's with out touching the high's. just look it up, i cant explain it very well Yep multi band compression is how they get their super awesome robot wooblers, compress the shit out of certain frequencies to get that metallic kind thing goin, that coupled with a shit load of proceswsing and sampling the transformers movies
  21. Well yeah you can do it that way, which is the way I do it, but I guess you have One track going to an AUX and a send, AUX being high pass and send being low pass, or visa versa, if you dont want to duplicate your tracks
  22. Seriously nutter track man all I can say is :twist: that fuckin bass, put that shit in the patches thread. Your dubstep coming along in leaps and bounds my friend, have some rep. Ill give a full ramble jobby when you put the final version, I made some soundcloud notes
  23. As for this tip, there is an easier way to do it, you just send one patch to two different AUX channels, one high pass one low pass, easier to effect and such and keeps things more organised imo, good tip though
