haha not a problem man, as for the plug ins, I'd probably say go with massive cause its flexible and pretty easy to get your head around compared to the other two, although FM8 is my favourite synth period and absynth has some great presets that would suit techno pretty well but its totally fucked to try and use. Try the demos http://www.native-instruments.com/en/su ... -versions/

haha yeah, wannabe technics ftw? Thinking of getting some of those aerials cause I get a pretty lofty discount going through my college.
-
Personally I say stay clear of fruity loops because I think its codec makes everything sound shit, but thats just me. A hardware sampler is more for going and sampling things yourself, like getting a track, going, oh thats one sweet kick bitch, and sampling it, which you can do a lot easier with software, they are used by people that work entirely with hardware. Abletons sampler is quality

oi hearts, are those aerial headphones?? If so how do they go?

Couple of pics of mah setoooopp Proof that I am now one of you creepy fuckers PS. My phones camera sucks PPS. You can almost see my rad photo on the wall in the second pic

no amount of gear or videos will get you were you want, get your prefered software, click around, learn it, you know what music sounds like so copy it, pretty simple.
-
could be a driver thing, make sure everything is up to date. Other than that, not to sure, is the MIDI sync stuff set up right? Maybe take a screen shot of the tab and put it up.

Low Society is the one that just moved to newtown, didn't know the rsl was slosing, that sucks. Dubstep, theres heaps, drum and bass on the other hand, not so much. Pretty much the only DnB night I know of is Low Society and their DnB room is much smaller scale than the dubstep room. Occasionally they throw an event called DnBBQ though but its a daytime thing I think. Check here regularly though and you'll probably find a bunch. http://www.bassfreqs.com/forum/index.ph ... 43c5f4dffb

tight! pretty sexytime. -
Also the genre thing needs to be added, must be in the genre specified by the sample pack provider. I wanna make the sample pack so I can make it a Juke comp

when trashbags were running OHMY! it was epic, they still occasionally have OHMY! but isn't run by trashbags so its not that great, although g-tronic was ridiculous. They got rid of the ohmy cube hanging over the d-floor though
-
subbies broooooooooooo, haha. But seriously, Im pretty sure sublime is a trance/hardstye night, goes down at Home nightclun on darling harbour (amazing venue )
-
I love the genre idea, genious! I guess whoever wins from the last one gets to choose, so whoever makes the sample pack first gets to chooooooooooooz. Would be really cool to see how people put their own sound into another genre, thats when the magic happen imo.

bahahaha, motherfuckers! Homies gonna get they panties sued off Emalkay tune is pretty tight, way over played these days though.
-
NEVAAAARRRRR, your doing the DJ world a favour Cause our peeps will always be in the know.
-
gonna be kinda hard to judge, seeing as music is subjective and we all like different kinds of music.... Thats why it works on DSF, cause they're all in the same mindset ya feel?
-
Listen to mixs/radio shows of your favourite DJs, they always have the newest and the best tunes, hit up the tracklist, buybuybuy.
-
Go to preferences (in the top bar somewhere, I think options) then it should be in the tab called record/warp/... and you can choose to not auto warp long clips and there are some more options for short clips. If you want to get rid of warp markers just click the warp button in the clips options thingy on the left and then when you click warp again it will ask you if you want to revert to old markers or start fresh.
-
Try this, transpose your clip, drag it onto the arrange page if it isn't already, then consolidate (ctrl+j) and then slice to MIDI, pretty sure that should work
