  1. or he copy pasted his browser history
  2. I think building your own pc is a good experience, and yes it will spec better for the cash, but if your someone that likes thing to work straight out of the box and dont like troubeshooting annoying problems then I'd go with the mac.
  3. Nice stuff mate, Welcome
  4. What the fux, heaps random.
  5. i was more meaning prog or minimal producers are less likely to bang out percussion (i think.....) while breakbeats, hip hop, bass style producers may prefer to bang out their beats on pads. thats just going off what ive seen and read. True but I think its more to do with the person, I know hippidy hoppers that just use the mouse, so I think its just preference I guess.
  6. Serious lack of common sense with this one mate. I would consider taking a good long think about this one...
  7. Just use what you can work with man, they all basically do the same thing.
  8. The ones I linked up above are the ones I would reccomend, I would expect them to sync with FL pretty well. Genre is fairly irrelevant, they all do the same thing more or less.
  9. Funky room is large! Roska and Cooly are on the same night up here, at different venues Seriously need to head down to one of these nights!
  10. This ish will destroy Shit quality and only a clip, but I got in on 12" and its mental, trumps the original, but everyone knows the OG which means good
  11. Budget? Room size?
  12. Completely different things, mpk is a keyboard, maschine is a sampler. All the extra software stuff you get with the maschine you can do in your daw anyway. Pretty much all the maschine has over the mpk is 8 more trigger pads.
  13. Remix = Using stems of the original to create a new tune, with your own vibe. Bootleg = Pretty much the same as a remix, but without the stems, just cutting up the song as a whole. Rework/Edit = Slightly changing an original to make it better or more club friendly, usually just changing structure and drum pattern.
  14. Keyboard would definately be a better choice. Something like this https://www.storedj.com.au/products/AKA-MPK49 or this https://www.storedj.com.au/products/NOV-RMT49SLMII
  15. I know that Rusko was on for producer of the album, but got the boot. Not sure as to who took over.
  16. With straight tonearms you get this weird rattling noise when you hold the record, queing it etc. Pretty much the only advantage of the s shape is the lower noise.
  17. 150's for lyf! My deal trumped yours though Also on a related note, anyone know where you can pick up s tonearms for them? Over the arm noise, and I dont scratch.
  18. Looks tasty
  19. Would you actually get use out of it? Are you someone that likes to smash out a beat with yo fingas? You should probably think about it before you spend all that cash. I know a lot of people that have forked out for a top of the line trigger pad and never use it. Maybe get an m-audio trigger finger first and see if it gets any use. Also do you have a keyboard, cause that would probably be a better option, some of them come with trigger pads too (akai mpk, novation sl)
  20. Completey different synths man, complete opposites if you ask me. Massive is better though, but you wont be able to get the same sounds out of it.
  21. Monitors are too close together too.
  22. If theres some shitty craftsmanship I'd try and get them replaced though, just for the hell of it
  23. Your speakers sounding different should be expected, I'd be surprised if they didn't. Those pads are designed to let the speaker give the most accurate frequency response (for the way they are built). What monitors are they by the way? Also try and get your tweeter at ear level, and dont forget the triangle
