Oh and the arpeggio on the last tune, the volume modulation is just part of the tune, not my doing, but its one of my fav tunes at the moment, xxxy is destroying at the moment.

Mass plus rep eggs, many thanks. All the nice bits you talked about like vocal samples, backspins n such where all just part of the tunes cause I didn't use any dvs and I only have two decks, most of the things you pointed out where during a mix, I mainly spent time on the selection and phrasing of each tune. The tune at 30 mins is Mount Kimbie - Carbonated (saw them last night at OAF, brainsplode for realious) going into James Blake - Buzzard and Kestrel. The mix at 48 your talkin about is my favourite, absolutely love how the vocals comp with each other between the two tunes, the only reason I up'd this recording is cause I got that mix right, cause its shit bringing it in at 45:30 where theres no beat haha. Cheers again for the review man, much appreciated.

Finally go around to recording a mix, should be somethin in there for everyone. Bit of Dubstep, bit of Garage, bit of House, and RnB samples all over the place. Theres a few obvious mistakes, but they are quickly recovered I hope, and theres one really horrible mix thats pretty abrupt, but I only added the tune last minute so yeah. Yeah it'll be downstairs in the mini-bar place, they call it the dungeon or something, Filth Collins has played there a couple of times, he said its pretty woeful, although he blew one of the speakers last time

Currently doing this course, I think you all have an entirely warped view of what you get out of the it though. If you are good and apply yourself, you will get a career in the audio industry no doubt, because the lectures (well the ones in sydney at least) are very highly respected in the audio world. I think the percs of the whole thing aren't apparent until your actually part of the community. But at the OP, If you've enrolled to learn how to make electronic music you're kidding yourself, its not a course to become the next big DJ, sure it covers it, but the BAP lecturers care very little for it.

whats the wollo gig? 151 with Struz? haha

As funny as it sounds, its a ver common DYI phenomenon, cause of the small space you can get very dry recordings if you put a bunch of sheets and shit on the walls, which is good if you have a shit room.

We dont have to pay room hire. As long as we fill the the place with people that is. Sounds like a good deal -
Yeah they've been doing a couple of shows down in the gong recently, they've been talking about launching a weekly night soon, it was supposed to launch last december but they pushed it.

Do you lads get a decent profit out of these nights? Three rooms must be pretty expensive to rent. -
It gets pretty annoying man, trust, but if you can handle it, I'd go for it
