At 17 he had a residency at Orange Corner, at 19 he had moved up to summer resident at Kanya, one of the coolest bars on the famous sunset strip. 21. Soapbox Events & Chinese Laundry are excited to bring German techno veteran Zombie Nation to LNDRY. Zombie Nation (aka Florian Senfter) had early commercial success with his global chart topper Kernkraft 400 back in 1999, but with 15 solid years of producing and remixing for the likes of Frankie Bones, The Presets and Tiga, this guy is no one-hit-wonder. On top of that you have his collaboration with Tiga under their ZZT moniker, as well as with his own side project John Starlight, we’re talking about one hardworking dude! From turning pre-historic video game soundtracks into top ten hits, to creating tracks from collages of weird sounds or donning demented wigs while bouncing maniacally during his electrifying live sets nothing is too far-fetched for this man! Full Line Up: Zombie Nation (GER) Cassian A-Tonez Samrai Fingers Baytek Tom Budin Nightwalkers Coda WEB: http://www.zombienation.com/ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/zombienation SOUNDCLOUD: https://soundcloud.com/zombie-nation TWITTER: https://twitter.com/zombienation Biography The artist formerly known as Splank, Zombie Nation (Florian Senfter) has carved out one of the most exciting and glaringly individual careers modern dance music has ever witnessed. Having such success so early on with his first Gigolo release- the chart-smashing Kernkraft 400 - could so easily have gone straight to his head, but Flo was too stubborn and single-minded to succumb to any material lure of permanent limelight. Instead he’s concentrated on painstakingly moulding one of the most unique sonic characters around. This year has already seen a crazy flurry of activity - heʼs been busy in the studio with close compadre and Turbo Records head, Tiga, concocting yet more dancefloor dynamite for a new LP under their ZZT guise, as well as creating more incendiary weapons to add to his Zombie Nation live show - which, if you havenʼt yet witnessed, is the only way to fully experience the unbridled force of his insanely infectious genius. It should also be said that Mr Zombie Nation doesn’t use the term "live" lightly, like so many producers do these days. Zombie Nation live is an orchestra of vintage synths and controllers grinding and hollering to Floʼs frenetic yet magical touch.
