In the heat of the summer of 2009 they saw themselves performing on the biggest festivals in Holland like Dance Valley and Mystery Land. Not soon after that they flew to Australia for a huge club tour which was a big success and generated much fame on the other side of the world. He does not pretend to know everything and he will be nice to you and your friends. He is grateful to be doing music for a living and he knows that the reason people go to parties is to have fun. If you want to act cool and not have any fun then please do not book him. The name “Claude VonStroke” was a random joke that caught on after a series of tracks grabbed the attention of underground dance music in 2005. His very first record, “Deep Throat,” was an unusually quirky affair that caught fire worldwide and he has been blessed with similar success stories ever since. Claude’s real name is Barclay Crenshaw, a guy raised in the suburbs Detroit who wanted to be a filmmaker but always had a knack for music. After several different film careers of varying success and with some help from his friends, VonStroke started the “dirtybird” label at the very late age of 32. Since 2005, dirtybird has carved out a niche as a premiere American label and has released over 40 EPs. VonStroke has released two artist albums as well as a Fabric mix and over 25 remixes for a wide range of commercial and underground artists from Indy rock group “The Rapture” to Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson. In an effort to give something back to the community VonStroke unveiled a new label “mothership” in 2007. A large percentage of the label’s proceeds go to a music school for children in Claude’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan. This label features more euro-flavored techno and house featuring groups like Catz ‘n Dogz, Maetrik and Voodeux. But like we said at the start, Claude VonStroke is only coming to see you if you want to enjoy yourself and get sweaty and nasty. If you want to wear a sweater and frown in the VIP section, he is not the right DJ for you. Justin martin As the late Oscar Wilde once said: “life is too important to be taken seriously”, an ethos that Justin Martin is sticking with despite achieving soaring success over the last six years as a producer and international DJ. Justin initially pricked the ears of the electronic music community in 2003 with his first record ‘The Sad Piano’ on Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly label. Everyone in the electronic music food chain got involved, from the A list DJs like Derrick Carter and Pete Tong that were playing the track, to the international music press that were raving about it. It even translated to the German underground, with Poker Flat licensing it for Steve Bug’s ‘Bugnology’ compilation. Like someone that goes bowling for the first time and gets five strikes and a turkey, Justin couldn’t really have hoped for a better entrance. Feeding off the energy of the San Francisco underground and mentored by fellow super producer Claude VonStroke, Justin was intrinsically involved with the development of dirtybird records, appearing on its first four releases. Justin was soon ready to take flight, releasing a string of solo EPs which flaunted a very unique sound and garnered still more respect among fellow DJS and heavyweight’s of the scene. In 2010, such respect prompted an invitation for Justin to DJ mix Pete Tong’s infamous “Essential Mix” series and also landed his felicitous placement on the front cover of DJ Magazine. Justin continued to roll out two further killer EPs on dirtybird, which were collaborations with his protégée Ardalan. “Mr Spock” earned recognition from major digital news outlet NPR as “surrounding sounds with tactful little details: the hissing white noise; that chubby, wet bass kick. This is music that doesn’t need to be heard on the dance floor, though it does work awfully well there”. What followed was “Lezgo”, which knocked down the genre walls and pretty much remained a firm fixture in every DJ’s box throughout 2011. As well as his formidable arsenal of original productions, Justin is now equally known for his collaborations with his brother Christian as The Martin Brothers, producing such hip-hop influenced hits as ‘Duckface’, ‘Stoopit’, ‘Dum’. Justin has also made his mark remixing such bona fide classics as Radiohead’s ‘Nude’, Marshall Jefferson’s ‘Mushrooms’, TG’s ‘Revox’ and remixes for labels such as Fools Gold and Greco Roman, firmly establishing himself as the man to make big tracks even bigger. 2011 found Justin in the perfect position to work on his boldest project to date, his debut artist album and he couldn’t be more enthusiastically happy with the results. “Ghettos & Gardens” was one of the most highly played albums of 2012 and received glowing reviews Demand for Justin’s skills behind the decks has skyrocketed with his bookings schedule constantly crammed to capacity. With dates everywhere from Panorama Bar (Berlin), Fabric (London), Space (Ibiza) and a full album tour for summer and fall 2o12, its no wonder Justin’s diary is reading like the dreams of a professional raver. Stateside he continues to be a regular fixture at the dirtybird events in San Francisco and beyond. Music journalists typically describe Justin’s sound as ‘melodic and tough’ with his music encapsulating both melody and emotional depth yet always with enough undeniable ass shaking properties to translate to the floor. “I’m always trying to find music for my DJ sets that rattles sound systems, but still has enough melody and interesting texture to expand your mind even if you’re sitting at home on a snowy or rainy day.” He remains as enthusiastic as ever to be involved in the scene. When recently questioned by Resident Advisor on what he’d be doing if he wasn’t a DJ or dance music producer he just replied: “Wishing I was a DJ or music producer.” By all accounts it’s hard to tell him to wipe that smile off his face. J.Phlip J Phlip (pronounced J Flip) known to some as Jessica Phillipe discovered house music in her hometown of Champaign, Illinois, just 2 hours south of Chicago. Sometime around her 19th birthday she got her first DJ rig – two belt drive turntables and a mixer lacking EQ knobs for $100 bucks! From then on, her poor roomates were forced to listen to a constant dance party in-between her Systems Engineering studies. There aren’t a lot of 4.0 braniac engineering majors who decide to become DJs instead of cashing in on their degrees but Jessica truly loves the music and has dedicated her life to it. Her proximity to Chicago’s famous house scene tremendously affected her sound, but the distance afforded her the freedom to incorporate a variety of other influences into her repertoire. Her sets posses a fun, “lets-not-forget-this-is-dance-music,” feeling and simultaneously keep you guessing about what might come next. Her collection spans house, tech house, deep house, techno, booty bass and pretty much anything that make you shake your ass. She’s currently a well known DJ/Producer in San Francisco. Her skills on the decks and in the studio have secured her highly desirable spot as an official member of the dirtybird crew. She has a residency at San Francisco’s infamous Endup nightclub, which is notorious for its non-stop, never-ending parties. Jessica continues to have new productions coming out on dirtybird where she has signed on as an exclusive original artist. Add to that, remixes on Scion Audio/Visual, Justin Long’s Dotbleep Records, and brand new Denver-based label Full Flavor, and original tunes on Alland Byallo’s Nightlight Music & the east coast imprint, Airdrop. She is currently Claude VonStroke’s favorite support DJ and has already played at amazing high profile gigs like Fabric, Space Ibiza & Back to Basics. She was also chosen for URB Magazine’s Next 100 of 2009 and is looking forward to Berlin, where she will be moving in the spring of 2010. Look out for her this spring in Europe – she WILL be making asses shake on the dancefloor and she’s just as excited about it as the day she got her belt drives! (Letter from Claude VonStroke) “It is not that often that i get to hear someone play who i think is amazing. It is even more rare for me to hear a person that understands what the real “dirtybird” sound is all about. Jessica (J Phlip) is one of those rare gifted DJs who I love to listen to. I can fully attest to her skills on the decks as I have travelled on tour with her from the UK to Spain to Germany and beyond. I promise she can hold her own with anyone I have ever heard play on any stage. If you are thinking about booking someone fresh from dirtybird I really think this is the DJ who can deliver the goods as they were meant to be delivered. Straight from San Francisco with dirty basslines, bootylicious funk, and cute as hell – J. Phlip is the total package. She is moving to Europe for the summer, so this is a chance to hear someone really cool from the original San Francisco dirtybird crew who doesn’t sound like everyone else.” – Claude VonStroke

From igniting dancefloors across the globe to releasing some of the most seminal drum and bass tracks ever to see wax, he continues to amass an unsurpassable list of achievements, all driven by his dedication, phenomenal technical skills and unique flair. Retaining the same passion for music as the day that it all started, Marky remains at the forefront of not just the drum and bass scene, but the music world at large. Growing up in Sao Paulo, Marky was surrounded by music from an early age. His father was a multi-instrumentalist and vinyl enthusiast - a bug which he caught early. His early childhood was soundtracked by Motown, soul, funk and jazz, the traces of which still permeate his music today. However, it was when an older friend first introduced him to the concept of DJing that his journey truly began. Picking it up with ease, his prodigious talent was immediately recognized and he was DJing professionally by the time he was 15. Initially playing house and techno, he soon discovered the UK-centric sounds of hardcore through the likes of Dave Angel, Altern8 and Prodigy. Honing his focus, he followed the evolution of hardcore through jungle and into drum and bass as it is known today. Working in Up Dance records, the only record shop in Brazil to be selling jungle at the time, he met Englishman Adrian Harley who was so impressed by Marky that he invited him to London where he met the likes of DJ Hype and Brockie at the first True Playaz night at the now defunct club The End. He would also go on to introduce Marky to his managers who after seeing a VHS recording of him playing flew out to Brazil to meet him. As jungle exploded in Brazil, Marky was catapulted to fame, regularly playing across the length and breadth of the country. During this period he picked up a number of residencies including one at Lov.e in Sau Paulo, which he held for 10 years. It was there that V Recordings head honcho Bryan Gee spotted him in ‘98, subsequently inviting him to play at the seminal Movement night in London. It is Marky’s unparalleled talents behind the decks that won him his fame and numerous awards, however, it is production credits that have won him some of his highest accolades. His early collaboration with XRS ‘LK’, which was released on V Recordings, became an international phenomenon, reaching the top 20 in the UK and leading to him playing on Top Of The Pops and touring across the world from Japan to Australia, England to Austria. Marky has not looked back since, touring around the world and continuing to enjoy success with a series of collaborations with artists like S.P.Y, Makoto and Total Science. He takes his Marky and Friends nights across the globe and recently recorded the 55th mix in the internationally renowned fabriclive mix series. One of Drum & Bass music’s true visionary’s, Marcus continues to set the pace and champion new artists Alongside all this, the Innerground label that he started with XRS in 2003 with ‘Rotationz/Rudebwoy’ has gone on to be one of the most revered labels in drum and bass. A series of releases from the likes of Calibre, Random Movement and DJ Marky himself have continued to push the envelope of what can be done with drum and bass, with the label still going strong 8 years later. Fast-forward to the present day and Marky continues to push forward his chosen artform. When he isn’t touring the world as one of the most in demand DJs around, he is hard at work in the studio continuing to channel his unique vision through his music. He is also set to unveil a brand new live show this summer in Brazil. Marky’s undeniable passion and finesse have made him an international icon and driven him to become of the greatest artists working in electronic music today, and with plenty more up his sleeve he has no plans to stop any time soon. Aphrodite Bio DJ Aphrodite aka Gavin King's career in DJing and production has spanned 16 years and under various guises, 'Godfather of jungle', 'King of the Beats' and more is responsible for introducing, entertaining and moving millions of Drum and Bass fans accross the globe. From Shanghai to Rio, UK to USA, Sydney to Capetown, Moscow to South Korea his travels are far reaching and is in constant demand to spread his own good strong dance vibe from clubs to large festivals. His productions find themselves into CD players, MP3 players, films, radio, TV and DJ record bags all over the world. Two successful artist albums, Aphrodite and Aftershock on V2 records with a third to be released very soon, numerous Mix albums, Urban Jungle, Overdrive, Urban Junglist and more with a new releases also planned soon, make DJ Aphrodite one of the most influential and most listened to players in the entire Drum and Bass world.

Peking Duk "Peking Duk not only tastes good, but it sounds even better" – Tommy Trash The last thing the old Chinese chef expected to see bursting out of the oven was two grinning youngsters sporting tousled hair and oversized festival singlets. Quite astoundingly, during the preparation process, along with a 6 pound duck, 8 cups water and a carefully sliced sliver of ginger, somehow a radioactive pair of fluoro ray ban wayfarers managed to find their way into the mix. The subsequent chemical reaction transformed some American tourists cheap dinner into something much more worthwhile, this is how Peking Duk was born and i think you will agree that their story is way cooler than Batman and way less gay than Spiderman. It all began in 2011 with their debut single Bingo Trippin' which received support from plenty of industry heavyweights including Steve Aoki, MSTRKRFT and R3hab. From there they remixed the likes of Porter Robinson, Chilly Gonzales, The Phantom's Revenge and Vandalism, which gained them support from D.I.M, Chuckie, Oh Snap and fellow Canberrians The Aston Shuffle. The boys' 2nd single 'Welcome' hit a spanking #34 on the ARIA club chart, has already received plenty of radio airplay around the globe and has even gained support from industry legend Tiesto. Their latest single 'I Love To Rap' hit #9 on the Aria club chart & has received global radio play and support from the likes of Crookers. Recently Peking Duk have gained a massive amount of attention from blogs around the world for their Passion Pit - Take A Walk remix, gaining over 75,000 plays in 2 weeks on their Soundcloud and hitting #1 spot for remixes on Hype Machine. Already from that they are doing remixes for the likes of Island/Universal records and Peking Duk are all the hype on the worlds hottest dance blogs. 7. Chinese Laundry Bass Mafia pres Doctor Werewolf, SIASS(FRA) + Royalston Friday 9th November is set to be another steamy, sweaty, bass-pumping sex party, headed up by none other than our Bass Mafia residents Doctor Werewolf! Doctor Werewolf are one of the biggest names in the Australian scene, with their recent Wolfzilla EP impressively recently topping the Electro, Dubstep AND drum n Bass charts on Beatport. Their energetic shows at Chinese Laundry are a highlight of our monthly calendar and always pack out (wolf pun intentional). Catch them this friday along with our international guest, Parisien producer SIASS in the Laundry, and a DnB Cave headed up by Med School star Royalston Set Times Laundry 10:00 - Taylor Wolf 11:30 - Siasss (FRA) 01:00 - Doctor Werewolf 02:30 - Blackmale Cave 11:00 - Brown Bear 12:15 - Royalston 01:15 - DJ Celsius 2:15 - Linken Links to check out: http://soundcloud.com/doctorwerewolf http://soundcloud.com/royalston http://soundcloud.com/siasss-black-spirit Ask a fan how they’d describe a Doctor Werewolf show and you’ll usually get the same response - Bass. Loud, shouty, obnoxious bass. It’s this fusion of electronic chaos, blistering synths and crashing drums that has given rise to the unstoppable party beast comprised that is Doctor Werewolf, and they’re here to stay, bitches. Whether it’s headlining shows or supporting massive names like Nero, Chase & Status & Rusko (to name but three of many), the Doctor Werewolf club show is a cacophony of bassline chaos, screeching leads, breakneck rapping and surging wub wubs. But it’s when they take the noise outside, at festivals such as Parklfe, Stereosonic, Creamfields, Foreshore, and Field Day, that all bets are off - as the Werewolf bass train hurtles inexorably towards ‘Holy Shit’ central. Refusing to conform or be defined by labels, Doctor Werewolf’s penchant for the weird and wonderful is downright notorious. Their erratic studio productions don’t just ignore the rulebook - they chew it up, spit it out and set it on fire. Want proof? How about the ridiculousness of Trololo? With over a quarter of a million plays on YouTube, as well as support from Knife Party, the Werewolf reinterpretation of the infamous Trololo Man needs to be heard to be believed. No? Try their recent genre-bending single, LaserCat Rocket Attack, which has massive support from heavy hitters such as Dodge & Fuski, TJR and Far Too Loud. Whether it’s releasing on big time labels such as EMI and Minstry of Sound, or underground labels like Klub Kids and Top Billin’, one thing is certain: everyone wants a Doctor Werewolf banger. On official remix runs for Coolio, Wiley, Krafty Kuts, Switch Phetsta and even Australian pop goddess Ricki-Lee, Doctor Werewolf’s versatility in the studio is legendary as artists worldwide reach out with remix requests. Their chart success speaks for itself - their new EP, Wolfzilla, simultaneously sitting in the Top 20 of the Beatport Dubstep, Electro House and Drum & Bass release charts within days of release. Not enough? There’s also the small matter of knocking both David Guetta and Skrillex off the top of the iTunes Dance Album charts with their MOS Sound of Dubstep Vol. 3 compilation. Between studio sessions, you’ll find the boys rocking out at a club near you. With no two sets ever the same, their unique blend of bass tunes, turntablism, rapping and even a bit of CDJ trombone (don’t ask) ensures that underpants will be thrown, sweat will be dripping, drinks will be spilt and PARTY WILL BE HAD. 8. Friday 2nd November Chinese Laundry Bass Mafia hosts another top notch bass act from across the Tasman, Drum N Bass warriors State Of Mind. This is the first laundry show for SOM, but it’s not their first time rolling through Sydney, so we know what to expect… and we expect to see all you bass heads front row & centre for this one. Hailing from Auckland, State of Mind are the duo of Stu Maxwell and Patrick Hawkins. Initially signed to Total Science’s CIA label in 2005, 2005 the pair released their debut full length album ‘Take Control’ in 2006 through Uprising Records. The follow up album Faster than light was released in 09 to both critical and popular acclaim and is one of only a handful of EDM records to break into the NZ top 40 charts. Notoriously prolific producers, and the State of Mind discography rapidly expanded to include releases on Teebee’s Subtitles Records, Shogun Audio, Viper Recordings, 31 Records, Bad Company, BSE & Obsessions, Project 51, Samurai, Non-Vogue and more.. Their second LP 2011’s ‘Nil By Ear’, was a critically acclaimed album that went to no 5 on itunes and number 11 in the NZ top 40 charts and cemented their place as DnB heavy hitters both in NZ and worldwide. Not satisfied being mere producers and DJ’s, they launched SOM Music in 2009, and it’s now regarded as a premier niche label in its own right. SOM Music is home to cutting edge artists like Nymfo, Black Sun Empire, Neonlight, Jade, Telekinesis, Mindscape, Dose, Borderline, Gridlok, Cern just to name a few. State Of Mind are also the hosts of the hugely popular ‘Next Level” 95BFM drum n bass show, one of the leading voices of the scene, which relaunched in bi-monthly podcast format due to popular demand. Mark Fanciulli has had an incredible 12 months. Aged 25 and with just three solo releases, it’s surprising how fast he has shot to fame. His release ‘The Tide’ which came out on Rejected in 2011, caught the entire industry’s attention with Joris Voorn’s edit being one of the most charted tracks on Resident Advisor last year. The track has since been nominated for 2 IDMA’s at this years WMC conference. Mark’s next release ‘Keep On’ on Area Remote, a collaboration with Jordan Peak, equally saw him gain recognition - so naturally 2011 ended with worldwide DJ gigs at some of the most established venues in London, Istanbul, Padova and many more. Whilst visiting some of the worlds biggest clubs Mark has similarly played alongside some of the most critically acclaimed DJ’s such as Damian Lazarus, Joris Voorn, Paul Woolford, Mark Broom and Heidi to name a few. Continued support on his releases have also been shown by Pete Tong on Radio 1, Ali (Tiefschwarz), Deetron, Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler, Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles and many more. Throw into the mix the crew from BAD APPLE who are hosting the Cave for the night, and we can guarantee this is going to be a quality party that you won’t want to miss….. In the Laundry we have returning local legend KID KENOBI alongside a whole host of Chinese Laundry regular big names including Blaze Tripp , U-Khan & A-Tonez who will feature with an amazing MC KItch Set Times Sand Bar 09:00 - Athson 11:00 - King Lee 01:00 - Fingers Cave - Hosted by Bad Apple 10:00 - Bad Apple Djs ( Whitecat , Antoine Vice , About Jack) 01:00 - Mark Fanciulli (UK) - 3 Hour set Laundry 10:00 - Sneaky Simon 11:30 - U-Khan 01:00 - A-Tonez ft MC Kitch 02:30 - KID KENOBI Doors Open 9pm Drink Specials from 9pm til 11pm $5 Budweisers $5 Vodka & Mixer $5 Dirty Laundry Shots Links to check out Mark Fanciulli http://soundcloud.com/markfanciulli http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mark-F...139477?fref=ts Kid Kenobi http://soundcloud.com/kidkenobi http://www.facebook.com/kidkenobiofficial?fref=ts A little mix from Mark Fanciulli in the lead up to his gig @ The Bedrock anniversary on October 6th @ Fire & Lightbox in London. http://soundcloud.com/markfanciulli/oct ... up-mix-for Kid Kenobi's brand new EP http://soundcloud.com/kidkenobi/sets/mu ... -ep-kid-1/ Guestlist Entry Fee - $15 Before 10:30pm & $20 After

Home to Matrix & Futurebound, ShockOne, Metrik, Smooth, InsideInfo, Seven Lions, Raw Theory and more http://www.viperrecordings.co.uk/home http://www.youtube.com/ViperChannel http://soundcloud.com/viperrecordings -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATRIX & FUTUREBOUND (UK) Matrix & Futurebound need little introduction, both having had illustrious careers in their own right. Matrix first broke through with his slick techno infused classic, ‘Sleepwalk’ album on Virus Recordings, later scoring chart acclaim under his house pseudonym ‘Goldtrix’ with the top 5 hit, ‘It’s Love Trippin’. Meanwhile, Futurebound had early success on labels such as Moving Shadow, Infrared, Hospital and Breakbeat Kaos before launching his own Viper Recordings in 2004, now recognised as a powerhouse in the bass music scene. When Matrix & Futurebound combined their powers to unleash the seminal ‘Universal Truth’ long player in 2007, the skillful fusion of epic melodic soundscapes with heavyweight dancefloor production and original vocals defined a whole new era in DnB. Soon the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Justin Timberlake, Moby, Sasha, and Skepta soon knocking at the door for remix duties and a whole new generation of acts such as ShockOne, Brookes Brothers, and Camo & Krooked inspired to follow suit. 2011 saw the duo launch their ‘Worldwide’ mix compilation series which was the perfect snapshot of the electronic bass music landscape in 2011, keeping a sharp focus on the freshest drum & bass around whilst also drawing on dubstep and electro to capture the sound of a Matrix & Futurebound live set in all of its glory. Now in 2012, Matrix & Futurebound have opened a new chapter as they work towards the release of their second artist album. The first single, ‘All I Know’ which features vocalist Luke Bingham was the first peak at the forthcoming project. Having cracked the official UK Top 40 charts at #26 and reigning supreme on BBC Radio 1 “B” and 1Xtra “A” playlist, the single sets the perfect tone for what is to come over the next 12 months from Matrix & Futurebound. http://www.facebook.com/matrixandfuturebound http://www.facebook.com/officialmatrix http://www.facebook.com/futureboundviper http://soundcloud.com/matrixandfuturebound -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SMOOTH (EUR) Luka Per aka Smooth was introduced to music at the age of 10, when he began to practice piano. After practicing for 3 years and later on he became more interested in guitar, also in such genres as metal, hardcore etc. When a couple of years passed by he attended his first drum n bass party and he was hooked! It was very soon after that he decided not just to love this music but also to make his own tunes. His first release was 'Lost Cause' in 2005 on Touchin’ Down Records. As he researched sound more and more, he decided that his sound just wasn’t good enough, so he shut himself in the studio and waited until 2008 when his improving sound was noticed by Dementia. Together with Rregula they released 'Obfuscate' on Trust in Music 12". Following this, he released ‘Space Attack’ on Recon and the massive ‘Out of Time’ on Ruse records. After hearing ‘Under The Moon’ which would appear on Viper Recordings ‘Acts of Mad Men’ album, Smooth was signed to the label and later went onto release his first single ‘7th Sense’ / ‘Squirm’ (feat. KG) on Viper’s sister label, Viper VIP. Smooth is also one half of Telekinesis who recently made their debut on Breed 12 Inch label, as well as one third of City of Dogs, whose track ‘Absolutely Flawless’ was featured on Pendulum’s Radio1 Essential Mix. 2011 has been Smooth's breakout year, starting off with the massive single 'Feel So Free' on Viper VIP, which was followed by 'Calling' and Smooth's absolutely immense remix of the Matrix & Futurebound classic 'Strength 2 Strength' on Viper's 'Worldwide 001' album. This was followed by two tracks on Viper's 'Summer Slammers 2011' album, with 'Want It' and 'Alienated' (as Telekinesis). Now heading into 2012, Smooth has released his debut EP - 'Blinded By The Light' - out in January and featuring 'Shifting Sands (feat. Shaz Sparks)', 'Cosmos' and 'Cyberfunk'. http://www.facebook.com/lukasmooth http://soundcloud.com/lukasmooth http://www.viperrecordings.co.uk/artist/999918/smooth
  21. Boss Bass Goes deep this October 26th, with an international guest from across the Tasman Crushington in their first ever Sydney show. Touted as the next big thing out of NZ Bass music, Crushington is actually the Dubstep alter ego of a rather well known DnB act the Upbeats We've been trying to get these guys over for a while and are very excited to have the Debut first Sydney show for Crushington at Chinese Laundry, along with special guests Glovecats, and supported by the Boss Bass crew. Jeremy Glenn and Dylan Jones, also known as Terror Snake and Downie Wolf, have been writing music together since 2001. Purveyors of maximal minimalism in bass music, as Crushington, they explore the world of dubstep. Full-time DJs and producers since early 2004, the duo perform on a regular basis across the globe, run their own recording imprint Non Vogue, and have released records on Virus Recordings, Bad Taste Recordings, and Soul Recordings. Inspired by a Skream and Benga DJ set, for the last two years, Crushington have sculpted their own take on dubstep. Fresh to the genre, their work has already received massive DJ support from the likes of N-Type, Distance, Truth, Bulletproof, Datsik, Excision, Hatcha and Headhunter. Crushington have collaborated with Black Sun Empire and Bulletproof, recently producing New Zealand dub'n'bass icon Tiki Taane's single 'Light Years Away'. In the process, DJ bookings across New Zealand and Australia have come thick and fast. Look out for Crushington's debut album later this year, and catch them at Chinese Laundry for Boss Bass this Friday 26th Oct Set Times 10:00 - Bruxism 11:00 - Glovecats 12:15 - Hydraulix vs Pop The Hatch 01:30 - Crushington 03:00 - AutoClaws CAVE 11:00 - LA Tech 12:00 - Northie 01:00 - Boque 02:00 - Kombat Doors open 10pm Drink Specials between 10pm & 11pm $5 Budweisers $5 Vodka & Mixer $5 Dirty Laundry shot Links http://soundcloud.com/crushington http://www.facebook.com/crushington http://soundcloud.com/crushington/crush ... ive-winter Chinese Laundry Sessions mixed by Glovecats http://www.mixcloud.com/ChineseLaundry/ ... glovecats/ Glovecats - The Wall EP http://soundcloud.com/glovecats/sets/gl ... e-wall-ep/ For Guestlist, Groups & Birthdays contact details as per my signature
