  11. Lock Saturday the 23rd of November into your calendars as Italy’s BOT brings his futuristic take on electronic music to Chinese laundry. Since departing the legendary duo Crookers, Bot has locked himself in the studio and disassembled any expectations to rebuild his sound for 2018. Headlining in the cave is NZ’s House music don Tim Richards and Bella Sarris. Tim Richards is without question one of New Zealand's most successful electronic music exports, whose musical creations land somewhere between the futuristic side of house, and bass driven analogue techno. His lust for electronic music (and the gadgets that create it!) has spanned a career of over 15 years, and his musical exports now cover the globe. Bella Sarris returns to Chinese laundry after spending the summer in Ibiza as the resident DJ for Richie Hawtin’s Enter night. Sand Bar 09:00 – Eko 11:00 – Fingers 01:00 – King Lee Laundry 10:00 – Acaddamy 11:30 – BOT (ITALY) 01:00 – SECRET INTERNATIONAL GUEST!!! 03:00 – A-Tonez Cave 10:00 – Kerry Wallace 11:30 – Tim Richards (NZ) 01:00 – Bella Sarris 02:30 – James Taylor BOT: Bot is of the future. Half man, half-machine, fully Italian. Exiled in West London, locked in the studio since departing legendary duo Crookers, Bot (his creators named him Andrea Fratangelo) has disassembled any expectations and rebuilt his sound for 2018. Since forging his new solo path, Bot has prepared half a dozen releases to deliver throughout 2013. The first, "Vamos / Go Down" EP was hastily snatched by Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label and released in March. His 2nd release, 'Indastria 2028' followed in May on his own label Main Course (with partners Astronomar & Neoteric). Next up are 2 smashers for Blood Music (Trails/One Hour), which will see the light in July and have since debuted in Fake Blood's Fabric Live 69 compilation. To round out the year, Bot joins the crew at Southern Fried once again, to drop the "Friday Pulse" EP and remixes, featuring the legendary Robert Owens. On top of that, more music from Bot and friends is being prepared for Main Course, and he's stayed busy remixing the likes of Diplo & Wiley. One thing is for certain; there are no plans to slow down! Futuristic techno and unorthodox club rhythms are welded with hip hop influences, and a nod to the sounds and sprit of classic house. What we have here folks, is the new tomorrow. Filthier than the waters of Africa. A picture has just been painted of the tainting sounds and explicit torment of Seek N Destroy. From the unwavering electro house and trap beats, to the dubstep, drum n’ bass, techno explosions- Christopher who birthed this thumping artist vibe has got it nailed across the music spectrum naming his kit as a gang-bang of genres. Amplifying the ripples made by Mr. Skeleton, GTA, Kill The Noise, ShockOne and Botnek, this bearded loco has set a goal for global domination. Carrying the determination to lift bass amongst the masses, his pioneers have perplexed the way he tackles music from head on! Holding several residencies at HQ, Apple Bar and Electric Circus in Adelaide weekly while running riot at Australia’s best festivals Parklife, Stereosonic and Future Music Festival. Not only has he smashed copious amounts of shows…. and bars, but done it alongside the likes of Hardwell, Jack Beats, Proxy, Porter Robinson, Crookers and Kissy Sell Out. Sitting at a hefty 29th posy in the 2013 In The Mix Awards poll and taking out #2 for South Australia overall, the Seek N Destroy sound travels wide. Signed to Kannibalen Records, Shabang Records and Shax Trax! Chris took his stomping Rezorecta remix for Black Tiger Sex Machine to #56 on the Beatport Electro House Charts as well as making several appearances in the Electro and Techno charts with his newest tune ‘The Marching Song’. Off the charts and demand bleeds with head hunters like South African bass monster Haezer probing Seek N Destroy on his Top 10 Bangers list while spinnin’ his Rezorecta remix across the globe weekly. The year looks solid for the feline loving beard monster, summing up his future plans with 3 words and 3 words only ‘watch this space’.

Inspired by hip-hop's early years, he then grew to absorb the heyday of crews like Eric B. & Rakim, Ultramagnetic MCs, and Public Enemy; groups which prominently featured DJs in their ranks. Josh "Shadow" Davis had already been fiddling around with making beats and breaks on a four-track recorder while he was in high school in the NorCal cow-town of Davis, but it was during college that he co-founded his own Solesides label as an outlet for his original tracks. Hooking up with Davis' few b-boys (including eventual Solesides artists Blackalicious and Lyrics Born) through the college radio station, Shadow began releasing the Hip-Hop Reconstruction mix tapes in 1991 and pressed his 17-minute beat-head symphony "Entropy" in 1993. His tracks spread widely through the DJ-strong hip-hop underground, eventually catching the attention of Mo' Wax. Shadow's first full-length, "Endtroducing...", was released in late 1996 to immense critical acclaim in Britain and America. "Preemptive Strike," a compilation of early singles, followed in early 1998. Later that year, Shadow produced tracks for the debut album by U.N.K.L.E., a long-time Mo' Wax production team that gained superstar guests including Thom Yorke (of Radiohead), Richard Ashcroft (of the Verve), Mike D (of the Beastie Boys), and others. His next project came in 1999, with the transformation of Solesides into a new label, Quannum Projects. Nearly six years after his debut production album, the proper follow-up, "The Private Press," was released in June 2002. The following year Shadow released a mix album, "Diminishing Returns," and in 2004 he released a live album and DVD, "Live! In Tune and on Time." In 2006 he released another long awaited full-length album "The Outsider," which featured rising Bay Area Hyphy rappers including Keak Da Sneak and E-40. "The Outsider" also featured a single with Q-Tip (of A Tribe Called Quest), which led to Shadow's first appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Between 2007 and 2009 Shadow released three volumes of "The 4-Track Era Collection," a series of his earliest recordings. The 4-Track Era project was exclusively available through his web store, ShopDjShadow.com. In the midst of all of these solo projects, DJ Shadow collaborated with fellow hip-hop DJ Cut Chemist. Together they created a series of mixes that fused soul, funk, and rock, in the framework of a cohesive concept involving using only 45 rpm records (7 inches). These mixes include Brainfreeze, Product Placement, and The Hard Sell, which would be debuted at the Hollywood Bowl. Shadow's website relaunched in August 2009, enabling him to sell digital downloads direct to his fans through his own autonomous storefront. 2009 also saw the announcement of Shadow's involvement with DJ Hero, an Activision video game which features Shadow as a playable character within the game. Shadow also contributed several mixes to the game. 2010 and 2011 saw a tour throughout Europe and North America entitled "Live From The Shadowsphere." In 2011, DJ Shadow released "The Less You Know, The Better," a much anticipated full-length studio album, which met massive acclaim. 2012 included Shadow's heralded "All Basses Covered" DJ set-tour, as well as "Total Breakdown, Hidden Transmissions From The MPC Era (1992-1996)," an archival project; and "Reconstructed: Best of DJ Shadow," a greatest hits album.
