How about black background... black font? SO you have to highlight text to read it. It can be like a hazing technique for new members
  4. I will always use ableton, I love it like it were my own child. However I am getting Logic 1. because it's a good idea if you are a pro producer to know both main DAWs and protools. 2. The Uni I am starting at soon use Logic to score animations and just general sequencing. I dont know what so many people's problems are with ableton, but I love it. Logic is good as well. But I dont dislike it like some ppl dislike ableton. I'm not cashed up either, sadly, I wont a $6k bursary and thats what im getting with the money. I guess i forgot to tell everyone lol. I'll do a big thread later on when I get everything

colour could be changed maybe? in terms of its phyiscal layout. its fine.
  6. Logic Express (this is a guess) is just the sequencer, with probably less capabilities like less audio inputs, less amount of total tracks. less amount of total effects. could possibly run on less cpu etc Logic Studio IS Logic Pro + a few other smaller programs. So logic studio is a package. Logic Express Logic Studio (Logic Pro + other programs)

I've always wanted a control panel where you can track subscribed threads. THeres been so many times, when I've either missed posts. Or the list for new posts has been full one moment then empty the next, when I know full well that I didnt view those posts.

  23. yeah got it. so good
  24. fuckn funny how the lyrics dont rhyme at all
  25. technical opinion: Kick is ok. bassline is ok as well. Pads fit. arrangement is not great, its a bit all over the place. Lyrics, start off nicely, appropriate for this style of music. I like that panned delay at 1:52. However that bit where the lyrics build up gets incredibly annoying. The become really out of time and the vocal just doesnt sit. you need to tighten it up and cosidering automating a filter to rise up. Personal opinion: great for your first effort. But PLEASE do not get stuck into making this melb style kick bass minimal style. It's absoloutely rubbish technically. Im not talking about you, im talking about a lot of it. Guys like reece low are just using a fucking single oscillator synth, a kick and a bass. and thats it. somehow ppl like it. Basically, if you want to get into production. try making everything, every genre. because in my opinion a monkey could make a kick and a bassline syncopate.
