like all computers. They are mainly built for one general purpose i.e gaming, audio processing etc. Get a pc that suites your general needs and you will save money. Obviouly your uni needs are easily covered.

Gotta go serato man. You can still use the CD players as time code. It's just a CD instead of a record, bit homo though if u ask me. Otherwise try virtual DJ (cringe), bottom line is, if you get traktor or serato or torq your gunna have to pay for the hardware. With Virtual DJ you dont have to, you just need a sound card with two channels. But please dont take advantage of the auto beat-lock system...

I dont think there is a DJ out there that doesnt or hasnt used a method of 'cheating' to knock out a mix. Just let it be a lesson that you can always get better and mixing of decks is a skill that no one has ever or will ever perfect. Mistakes mean you are human, therefore the mix is genuine skill.

welcome bro. If your looking for feedback on your site, I found the font on the opening page hard to read. The aqua coloured one.. text to close togther and to much contrast i guess.

In the end, its all about defining whether you are a pro DJ or not. If not, its fairly difficult to justify BUYING all your tunes. It can be very costly.
