firstly, he kicked that fuckhead out because of an ongoing battle between the two. secondly, not all his tracks are the same BPM. and why would you bother varying your BPM? It sounds no different whether it's 127 or 128. He's just making it easier for himself and everyone else. Thirdly, how fucking boring would the music industry be if it weren't for people like Joel Zimmerman or Laurent Garnier putting in there 2 cents worth?! He apologised for his comments, but he is right. A lot of DJs do just live their life playing other people's songs. How much money do you reckon he loses everyday from ppl ripping his song an putting them on youtube as "Full Quality". Would have to shit you.
firewire, usb, pci express? Midi, how many in/outs? http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/sep08/a ... rfaces.htm Looks for brands like M-Audio, NI, echo etc. Try just looking through StoreDJ and DJwarehouse.
yeah... dont rely on virtual DJ... The beat matching thing is very uncool. but yeah... an analog setup is expensive. the big downside of DJing i guess.
1. you can either bring your gear and watch this mofo make a fool of himself...tell him you want him to beat match, at least 16 bars or else he can fuck off... OR 2. smash out a set of your own and tell him where to go.
