  6. thanks a heap cupe . hope you don't rage at this question but, in a nut shell.... i just have to own the music to play at a licensed club? if i do any mobile djing or mix cd's i'll have to get the appropriate licencing.
  7. Hey guys, i recently just started doing some guest djing for fun at a pub (more like a bar meets club meets pub... yeah lol) anyway... they like me and would like more of me, they even spoke highly of me when promoting the night i was playing for my 3rd time. in my opinion, i'm nothing special... just mixing a few tracks one after the other (when i can, still noob). i'm new to the djing world, i just started cause it was fun and seems that i'm somewhat good at it. i've watched dj tutorials online and read up on some of the theory. my strengths are Eelctro house, trance and hardstyle but for the life of me... i cant mix top 40 stuff all that well XD. Getting to the point of this post, i'm unsure about a few things, my main worries are: 1. the legalities or djing 2. mixing a wide variety of music (from house, pop to rock, metal and everything in between) 3. reading the crowd. can you guy help? it'd be much appreciated
