not always…with audio interfaces , if you pay a little more you get a lot more you need to look at what you are going to use the audio interface for ….hardware &/or software control .. I have two USB audio interface's …..my Vestax pbs4 …record anything audio and video{ inputs, JACKS for mic's and instrument's , RCA audio, AV, VGA, HDMI audio & video }… 3 channel audio & 4 channel Video video..stream it to the web live And in my studio i,v got a Roland sonic cell…..its so dope. its not only a good USB audio and midi interface its also a 16 channel midi sound module ( plug any midi keyboard or pad controller to it and you get a midi device with the power of the Roland fantom g6 with 1000s off Rolands G6 sounds and synths…you can change sounds and instruments by card...) and runs in your DAW as a VST instrument , The VST has its own 16 channel mixer for EQing and EFXs for each instrument/sounds thats playing from sonic cell and the VST plugs into 16 channels off your DAW recording software )

I,m all over that AMX like a fat kid on cake……l,v been looking for something like that for years

$220 for that blue pdx 2000 mk1 …what a SCORE…. because vestax only made like 150 off them you need to do a rubber band and match stick mod…then you will not be able to skip it

using MixVibes cross with leap motion and GECO midi……..will work with serato video and VDJ video ….if you don't have a midi mixer and need a way off crossfading video the leap motion is dope…its small ,and cheep and can midi map to anything you would like to do in your dj software….like EFX's control or triggering cue,s and loops ..( deck A left hand and deck B right hand )

i;v just picked up my new leap motion device to run as a midi controller [aeroMIDI] for dj software [serato dj and mix vibes] but what i was thinking is maybe i can use it to control the midi on my vestax pdx 3000 turntable but i need a good usb to 6 pin midi interface with midi routing software….. what is leap motion….leap motion is a usb device that lets you uses hand motion to control software what is AreoMIDI ….areomidi is a software that uses leap motion as a midi device so you can midi map into DWS or DJ Software or midi hardware

i,m looking to make a virtual turntable midi controller… if you all was to make a v turntable midi controller for mixing and scratch /controlling dj software ….what would you like to see on it and why ...(E.G.) buttons ,knob and pitch fader ok…this is what i,m thinking a midi controller thats in a turntable road case thats looks like a turntable but not….it has a 17 or 19 inch lcd screen, on the screen you will see a all most fill size vinyl record that will go around and around when the track in the dj software is playing ,when you scratch the vinyl record will move back and forth it will have a touch pitch fader that has LEDs so i can see where i set the pitch it will have 8 FSR touch button/ pads….(the same pad sensors that are under the pads on a MPC) a joystick for scrolling though your mp3 tracks in loading into the decks in the software for plater control (scratching and pitch blending ) will be controlled by motion capture …move your hand over the screen with the vinyl record on it and it will move the track in the dj software i think i can put one together for about $300 to $400

You should put innofader mini into the up/ line faders and look for some little cut fader for your line switches like the Stanton sa12 dj craze

Ok..A new R&B HIP-HOP club/ bar is opening up ,up here soon and want me to do a two hour set every weekend I said..,.. I would love to but, I only do video mixing now and web streaming ..and if they want me to play I need a Big screen set up to plug into....two 62 inch LCD TV,s running HDMI inputs The bar said OK but the boss would like to see what the video mixing would look & sounds like before he puts the $$$ down for the two big TV,s So I did this video mix in HD to show them what it will look and sound like...but.... I would like all of you to check it out before I show the club boss......is it ok or do I need to do the mix again...let me know what you think

When I went to the us about 5 years ago I got a Rane TTM 57 sl for $1200 ...that was $600 off what I would pay over in OZ I now use a sl2 and a Denon x600 midi mixer ,because when I work in the clubs it was a pane in ass to unplug the clubs mixer and plug in the TTM 57 sl just so I can use serato ...it's a lot easier with a audio interface / hub to setup than a mixer Why don't you look at the new A&H 23 c ....it has a audio / midi interface in the mixer for time code vinyl and comes with Mixvibes Le DVS Put a innofader mini to it ....be dope for scratching and I have always loved the sound off A&H mixer.......at $ 650 with innofader you would not get a old ttm57 sl for that price let alone a new TTM 61 or TTM 62
