Yes... you can Chop up Samples with the WAVE-Editer in Battery 3...but it is not as easy to use or as free-flowing as a sp 808 or a sp 555 that is why I got my sp 808
-
because your using NI traktor scratch pro & the Audio 8 sound card ...if I was you I would look at NI battery samplers 3 with your MPD http://www.spankrecords.com.au/Battery-3-33834 I used to use it all the time as a VSTi plug in for my DWS with my M-Audio Finger trigger midi controller before i got my sp 808
-
all samples are saved to a SD card in the sp 555....if you need more sample space you can put a bigger SD card in...in my 808 I'v got a 2 gig SD card so you don't need to have it pluged to your PC when playing out Also on my 808 is sample EDIT software by the USB port you can cut a long sample from audio , send it to the pc by USB the sample edit software will CHOP UP the long sample in to 16 little samples & than send it back to the 808 16 pads to play... I think its the same for the sp 555

getting from PSSL is not a good idea Pssl is in LA in the USA...so you will have to PAY US $$$...which will put the price at about $2200 AUD + 200 to 300 for shipping....& 110 v in the US over here is 240 v and the power plug is different -
for my time code vinyl set-up...I use Stanton scratchmaster v3 MP4 pac....I like them better than the shure 477....the 447 eat the grooves out off your time code vinyl

wazza replied to wazza's topic in Competitions, Battles & Collabs
Your the big boss ...so you make the RULES -
This is for ADJF users only - the mixes wil be judged by the ADJF VIP panel I'm not judging it as I'm not a VIP. Win my MixVibes DVS Producer 7 software with 2 new time code vinyl and a free upgrade to DVS-U. I'm moving to Serato DVS ...so I would like it to go to someone here. EDIT BY ADMIN: You must use all 10 tracks from the ADJF Mixtape Competition album (ADJF0001) to create your mix. http://www.ausdjforums.com/modules.php? ... ic&p=32632 Upload your mix to Soundcloud to be posted here from 1 November (close date). Good luck.
