  1. livid ohm 64 ...the best thing about the om 64 is it comes with cell DNA....the cell DNA is a Vj software that plug-into Ableton sequencer http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/1921/64compsite2.jpg' alt='64compsite2.jpg'> Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  2. yes... will be ok for most d.j software + midi controller... I ran a ASUS 2.4 P4 running XP pro with 1 gig of ram for a long time ( 4 years ) before I got my new HP i5 you will need to tune your XP for audio might need to up-grade your RAM to 2 gig
  3. I'v used ITCH on the vestax vci 300 ....I like it looks & feels like serato scratch live I would go the Numark V7 over the NS7
  4. Hoddi in another 50 years
  5. get thishttp://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vestax-VCI100-SE-Arcade-/140557332332?pt=AU_DJ_Gear_Lighting_Equipment&hash=item20b9deaf6c $550....be quick...one day left
  6. yes... all audio outputs from the audio 8 sound card...

  8. here I'm sequencing a moog VSTi from my Roland mv 8000 & a roland mc 808 with a scratch I did and a chop-up vocal sampler
  9. MAKE IT STOP....FUCK MAKE IT STOP
  10. It sounds about right ...5.5ms total system latency from your 1.8 under XP is as tight is your going to get why I get 3 to 5 ms total system latency is because my sound card is firewire which is faster than USB 1.1 & usb 2.....and I run a high sample rate ( 96 khz )..not 44.1 or 48 like traktor uses... + I run a custom made OS ( XP pro made for audio ) NOW... to fix your M-Audio OZONE midi controller to get that running tight as and problam free are you using the midi controller by usb...??? if you are you can try a midi 6 pin cable & plug it from the OZONE midi output into the midi input on the Audio 8 sound card....now your not running midi usb 1.1 from OZONE midi controller but midi usb 2 from the Audio 8......when you plug more than one usb device to your laptop your system share usb power for both ports..( more so if its usb 1.1 device & usb 2 device together )doing this can give you problams and can add latency
  11. I'v had the m-audio trigger finger.....it ok... but with any pad midi controller its all about how the pads feel under your fingers Akai mpd 26 has a way better pad feel than the trigger finger
  12. mum who know how to use hand tools & helps with making d.j shit....that so hot post pic off mum
  13. if you think that was disturbing check this out.....this made coffee come out my noise
  14. take a look at this post & videos for more info about tuning your PC for audio & DSP latency checker http://www.ausdjforums.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=5026 you dont need a big bad-ass p.c for low latency time code vinyl + midi controller in this video I'm using a old p4 2.4 with 1 gig off ram with a Edirol fa 66 sound card...it gets 3 to 5 ms total system latency in the software ( mixvibes DVS 7 ) I'm sending time code audio to my VESTAX pdx 3000 mk2 for vinly control & midi to the same sound card at the same time to control the 16 pad sampler in the software from the roland mv 8000 + I'm sending midi from another midi port on the sampler ( roland mv 8000 ) to my vestax pdx 3000 + midi by usb from the edirol pcr 500 midi keyboard to the mixvibes DVS software to control the Moog VSTi I have loaded into one off the time code vinyl decks in the software.......thats 2 midi controls + time code vinyl control and still no more than 3 to 5 ms total system latency from a old p4 laptop
  15. DSP latency checker is a good tool...give it ago it will not only give you an idear off your total system latency but also tell you what software you have running in the back ground on your pc, which is adding latency 5.5 latency from a DELL 1.8 with 2 gig ram under XP is as tight as I think your going to get better pc with more ram (& tune for audio ) ...will give you better latency
  16. D.jing is my love...fat bottom girls are my hobby
  17. if you want to scratch just get one good turntable not two shit turntables for the same price & a good scratch mixer.....dont wast your time with a cheep mixer, as you will fuck the crossfader in a cheep mixer in 2 weeks off hard scratching
  18. you cant get 1ms latency ....there is no sound card made that will give you 1 ms latency the 5.5 ms latency you are getting is more like 8 to 9 ms total system latency the 5.5 ms latency you see in traktor is just the latency for the software not total system latency when the audio ( time code ) go's into your sound card it go into 1 buffer (the input buffer ) then into your software ( into another buffer ) & then to the output buffer....this round trip though you set up.. from your cdj 1000s to the sound card to your PC back to your sound card to your mixer & though the 3 buffer adds latency...........that is total system latency
  19. I to don't think its your C.DJ 1000 or your Laptop I will PM you my phono number...will see if we can get it fix over the phono...if not we will have to hook up for a jam to see what the problam is
  20. I,m a beta tester for mixvibes DVS & have been using mixvibes for about 4 years have tested Cross on my turntables but not CDJ 1000 as I didn't have the HDCD.. if your near the Gold Coast or Brisse maybe I can help

  22. dont get the maschine....there over priced for what thay do....get a roland mv 8000 or 8800 I love my mv 8000......... shit over maschine & the akai mpc for sampling & sequencing
