Controller looks ok...but with Vdj...thats a big from me -
mitch-fudd is right you need serato hardware to run scratch live....you plug the cdj 350, cdj 850, cdj 900 & the 2000 into your laptop by USB & you plug the Rane/serato hardware into the laptop by USB.... for the audio outputs ,you go output ( RCA ) from the Rane /serato outputs into your mixer...you dont use the RCA outputs from the cdj if you want to use serato

Yes its both...two scratch patterns, one over the top off the other one....one scratched at 64 beat and then looped and the other one at 16 beats then looped the "aahhh" sample has a pitch shift & a loop cutter on it & the " brake + yeaa " samples have a delay & tape-echo to the beat ( 100 bpm ) I'm down for a jam ....you call it...how about old school X-mix hiphop/ R & B remixs mix off

Setting-up Serato for the Bridge is easy ...but using the bridge is not you need to know your Ableton shit to get the best out off the two software More work to like...setting up serato beat grids right..making audio loops & samples that you can use as clips in Ableton If I had the sl3 & two turntables running the Bridge ...I would set it up like this ..use a "Y" rca cable & split the serato time code vinyl signal from one off the turntables into two stereo channels inputs on the sl3 box doing this will give you vinyl control over the two serato decks & also vinyl control over the third ableton deck if needed

ok...but what would you like to see.. I was think that when me & Foolish ( if or when foolish comes down-under )...when we teach these KIDs to mix & put the serato lesson on live stream so all can watch also live d.j sets from clubs & partys from around O.Z...with the help from people here live video mixing sets from me ... live d.j gear reviews & demos from d.j shop.... live bands, MC... stream live... d.j & music artist interviews.... @ Cupe...you have to spend $$$ to make $$$...& the roland vr5 is a $$$$ making Machine To set this up its going to be about $10000..... to fund this I'm selling my investment property in N.Z...so might take some time to find a buyer

-
the sl2 is all you need...for the bridge in scratch live when you start, you have one deck for Serato ( deck "A") & one for Ableton ( deck " B " ) controlled by time code vinyl now in the mix when you have the two in time , you click the sync button ( "A or B or INT")...Ableton will jump over to the Serato deck ( deck "A" ) now you can load a new track into Deck "B" ....mix it in.. then click the sync button again & Ableton will jump back over to deck "B"... & on & on & on
