wow your setup sounds really nice, 2x 850 and DJM-T1, great ... everything you need This setup must be fun Maybe this case is something for you (it shows the old CDJ-800, but they should be almost in the same size like the new CDJ-850. The If not you could get this case and put a bridge between the CDJs:

sorry for the big picture, don t know how to make it smaller...
-
@SPJ i like your workbench, do you spin with regular CDs or do you control Traktor or Serato with your setup? @DJ_Raptor I don t know Dax Stands, but if you got a lil bit of "more" money, take a look at this stand: loving this one

here is the right bag for the ddj-t1, s1 or Kontrol S4. Light weight and solid.

that video is soooo wrong lol. If you looking for a great headphone nowadays, i would take the Zomo HD-1200, AIAIAI or Pioneer HDJ-2000. Best Headphones on the market, i have the Zomo & Pioneer at home, both have the best sound when it comes to DJ headphones. AIAIAI sound is good not so good as the zomo & pioneer, but i love the comfort of it, like the Sennheiser HD-25. They are the better HD-25 to me. When it comes to the sound the zomo & pioneer beating everything... the next pioneer headphone video will be without a headphone, just acting stupid and show off lol luckily you see a working meter at the mixer lol

i don t understand why you can t reach your on/off switch. But let me know Maybe you find some cases here:http://www.recordcase.de/cgi-bin/shop/lshop.cgi?wkid=133976466616338&ls=en&action=suche&fresh=1&suchbegriff=turntable+case&suchbegriff_nulltext=Search&setAjaxSb=0&sPlusSuchTyp=&sPlusSuchInfo=&x=0&y=0 they have a large amount of cases, i can recommend the brand zomo. Their cases are very solid, have some by my own for years... Amabilia shouldn t be bad too, but never had them personly....

Zomo MC-1000. Midi Controller for Traktor & Virtual DJ
RealRasputin replied to RealRasputin's topic in Digital & Software
its a different concept compared to the X1. But if you would have 2 X1s + Audio 10 for example, it would be closer to the Zomo. Why: The zomo is made to use it as stand alone in a combination with a Pioneer mixer (Because of its audio interface - X1 has no interface) Or like in this video, in combination with a Pioneer mixer & 2 decks - or even 4 decks. No 4 deck control with only one X1. I like the arrangement of the Zomo, everything is in the middle and looks really clear, clearer than the X1. I was spinning wit the X1, but i didn t like the arrangement of the buttons & potis as well as that you have to place the controller beside of the decks. The zomo staying in the middle, just under your main control - the mixer. A clear layout, deck1 on the left , deck2 on the right. And only 1 poti to search for tracks, not 2. X1 vs Zomo MC-1000 in Details: X1 = 2 Deck Control Zomo = 4 Deck Control X1: No audio interface Zomo: Audio Interface 2x X1 + Audio 10 = 3 USB ports needed Zomo = 1 USB port (good for Macbooks, because they only have 2 usb ports) 2 X1s = 398 $ + Audio 10 or 6 starting at 299$ Zomo MC-1000 = 299 $ X1: Plastik Casing Zomo: Metall Casing X1: Rubber Buttons Zomo: Plastik Buttons Possible to work with 2, 3 or 4 Controller: X1 = Yes Zomo = Yes -
I am mixing almost everything, i love mixing house, because of the arrangements and using of the effects, but when i have to dj in clubs i only play Hip Hop, Dubstep & Dance. I hope to bring a lil bit more house into it soon, but yet i am only djing at hip hop events. Its hard to combine both music genres, because ether the people want to hear straight hip hop or straight house overhere...not really mixed. btw. i had a vestax controller too, the controller was great...no doubt, i just lost the fun with it...its too much computer...

Yes vinyl is the best way to learn how to mix! Its always best to start from scratch...if you know how to mix with it, you will have no problems mixing with any midi controller or cd player. For transport, midi controller is better...no doubt, but if you dj in clubs, the clubs still should have technics...overhere its stil a club standard, i don t know about your area. But in our clubs they always have technics and cdjs. So you only need to bring your timecode vinyls, interface and maybe some small controllers like i do. Always taking the mc-1000 with me. I won t spin without it, i hate working on the notebook with mouse and keyboard.
