I am doing an introductory offer of $150 for 4 hours, that's mixer, decks, speakers, strobe lazer and moonflower the $150 pretty much just covers my arse, some people just don't understand the work that goes into it. I love it but some people expect me to do it that cheap that it actually isn't worth it. The 150 goes straight back into upgrading and getting new stuff. When I am DJing in a tavern I charge $50 per hour though ! Vaughn

I dont use a computer at the moment as i can afford serato or ableton. So i just run on cd's haha Will it really do much to help me though?

I also hate spending money because i end up with nothing at the end of the week but So many things to buy haha

Got the same problem, have like 80 cd's with 2 songs on each so i could see what was on each. I had all the good top 100 songs at the front then Club tunes then House, Deep house at the back But as i have done a couple of gigs they are everywere and i need another solution I wonder if they sell colour coded cd wallets? Just like a 5 subject book at school Have just a dot of colour on each cd I recon that would be easy as then

I have only really played dupstep at a couple of partys and i can say i got out on the dance floor myself and head banged. Alot of youth are into megadeath ect ect and hardcore bands and i find that dubstep is like there passage fro something to dance too. They see EDM as gay but they find dubstep kool. I dont really love dubstep but i can say when i first hear it from flux pavillion i downloaded it straight away and rocked it for a little while. But there is only so much of it that i personally can handle. Each to there own Rock the crowd though, keep them dancing

Okay so i have been trying to record a mix for the last couple of hours.... I have a MBP 13" and i have the input in the headphone port and i have changed the setting to use the sound output for a sound input and it still wont work. I tryed garage band as well and it didnt work. Frustrating me haha Any help guys? <3 Vaughn

This has got me thinking, 1. do i but an all in one unit (something like a pioneer ergo or the traktor s2) 2. Buy some second hand CDJ's 3. Got back and get a start on vinyl DECISIONS

Hey guys and girls, My name is Vaughn and im from south, east Qld on the sunshine coast. I am a beginner and I have only just really started DJing and I'm doing house party's and a local tavern. Uhh wel im still undecided as to what i shall call myself. As i have been nicknamed DJ Dest-Royer. Sounds a bit cocky or over confident or over powered. But the reason why is my last name is Royer My Father liked the name dest = DestRoyer But i liked it and i dont have a middle name so i put it up as my facebook middle name for shits and giggles. So i started just Dj'ing off my laptop and mates birthdays for fun and i was just using the hosts speakers..... 4 out of 4 party's i blew there sound systems up :S. 2 were bose systems. So all my mates called me the destroyer
