  1. dont make me cry ...lol
  2. So I have a stack of library music that I am looking to sell. I have not set a price yet. I would like to gauge interest on this forum first and welcome any advice on how I should sell them.
  3. popycock thats what I say....popycock 1200's still exist to buy new, they are Mk 5's . dont believe wikipedia, check out the panasonic website. http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/technics_dj/prod_default_analog.asp I cant believe this bullshit about technics dropping out of the game. They are far superior and irreplacable (thier existance is a contribution to world peace). My 1200's were 3rd hand, ex hire and still going strong. Besides the occasional 'green death' (quartz lock) which those who are in the know know what I am saying. I have no qualms with the mighty 12's. Long live 1200's all hail the 1200. Bow down to them you digital maggots ...lol....as far as I know they were the first to make a mark and they will die a very very very long slow death. Long live 1200's (or 1250's) whatever, they are still solid and will outlive the CD.

    Help.

this mix is up for scrutiny. It's potentially a demo for a wagga night spot. How serious do I need to be about my mixing for an initial demo? Is this demo more about track selection? I need feedback. I feel that it is too messy, but when i listened to it half cut through my HD25's I thought it was the bomb what do you think? Back to the drawing board? Let me know, please....., maybe I'm lazy and should work harder on it but i like to sound a little raw or rough around the edges sometimes......im almost prepared to pay for advice thats good lol http://soundcloud.com/davidjones33/demo-1

  9. so what do you recomend Gandy?
  10. I'm a fan of Juno. There is Hard Wax reocrds but they dont quite do it for me as far as the ease of listening to tracks. Also there Is turntable Lab in USA, But postage is Crazy. Im also hunting for that illusive site so keep me posted. Juno so far has been the best.

  13. Hi ! I Was based in Melbourne and played at what I felt were some of the best clubs in town. (Honkey tonks, Lounge, Revolver Upstairs, one six one, E:55, Laundry, Bimbo Deluxe and more) I am now (ten years later) Based in Wagga Wagga NSW. Local Bars and Clubs are so far showing very little interest in what I have to offer. For a period of three years I had not touched the decks due to homelessness, but since july 2010 iam am finally re united with my decks and vinyl. I have over 1500 LP's and I am in no hurry to switch to CD or MP3 or attempt producing my own tunes. I love what other people put out and I simply want to play it out. I have borrowed a friends DJM 300 and with ths, my technics turntables, a Roland R05 and a constant stream of vinyl ordered though Juno I feel like I could really make some damage my exposure to the true electroic music scene as I remember it is limited due to my location. I hope that this forum might clue me in to what genre I am currently interested in. I am at this stage calling it electro clash/slash tech house with spatterings of dirty bass. I shall post my mixes up and hope that I may get some feedback. any hoo, I just hope that I can generate and be a part of some interesting discussions on this forum. I'll put a post up called David Jones with a mix on it Oh yeah one thing i would really like to know: what alternatives are there to Juno For Vinyl ?
