  6. oh yeah its a handful. I had a behringer DXM750 which i stupidly sold with some cdj400s as a pack but still found that confusing with effects and what not. watched this kid on the djm 400 and seemed easy to learn on, i know djm 600,700 and 800 and the denon are more pro but im willing to learn. ok well looks like its bite the bullet and save for a little while longer
  7. still roughly same price as pioneer though yes? i know a lot of people will just say save, but its hard when u have 3 cars n 2 bikes all with rego around the same times
  8. Thanks GREMM1S. I was watching a guy at a house party over the weekend with the DJM 400 and thought that it would be significantly better than my DXM06 so i think in the meantime before i get some serious skill and money the 700 sounds like a good idea
  9. hey guys. Ideally i want my DJM 800 mixer. but its just out of my price range at the moment and i feel that i'm being held back with what i've got. At the moment i have a Numark DXM 06 and a Spare Numark M4 mixer. I have a set of CDJ1000 Mk3's and want something more suited. Im thinking with the very minimum funds (budget of about $3-400) i have and these 2 mixers to sell that the best i could afford is a DJM 600. any other opinions?
  10. hey guys. looking around desperately for a djm 800 so i can get rid of the numark dxm06 found this set up which was ex club gear on ebay and damaged. cosmetically looks fine just internals what sort of money is something like that worth? or if anyone has any better suggestions for mixers please let me know thanks
  11. yeah was the cable. got a new one
  12. ^^^^ That is awesome. I never would of guessed that. and yes it worked. ill take the cable and mic to the store now and get them checked.
  13. tried it with a different mixer... this time got a bit of feedback but no voice from speakers everytime i moved the mic cable.... gayyy

  17. Hey guys I'm having trouble getting my mic to work... at all... my set up currently is 2 cdj 1000 mk3's, a numark DXM 06 (for now till i but a DJM 800) and a set of audio line speakers. this is the rear of the numark http://www.djstore.com/images/products/ ... mdxm06.jpg now i plugged the mic into the rear of this, got a separate 2 cables to plug into the 2 line ports and put them into the back of the speakers... nothing works with my old cdj 400's it said to connect it to the cdj's but im not sure what to do with the 1000's as they only have 1 set of ports... any ideas appreciated
  18. so in this case... simple is better. less effects and better fading options even though there are less inputs for decks (which in all honesty i probably wont use more than 2 decks at once)
  19. Was looking at both last night on the net. it seems like the behringer uses a lot more effects. should I not worry about this?
  20. I have a set of CDJ 400's and a DXM06 mixer for sale. All in very good condition Near to no scratches. Great for Beginners Located in Eltham $1200 ONO please message 0437125139 for pics
  21. Hey guys. My set up includes 2 x CDJ 400s and a Behringer DJX750 which works pretty well Now i just bought a new set of audioline speakers off a friend and he chucked in his Numark DXM06 Mixer. Im just asking what is better for use? is one more basic and beginner than the other? does one have more effects? I know the DJX has the more outputs for more decks and the DXM. your thoughts?
